Hey vStyler, I wanted to congratulate you on making a great skin with your 'Tritan' version. I'm on it now. I'm new to the WB thing, so I've tried a lot of skins up front and I've downloaded quite a few - yours is sturdy but also lean and it loads a lot faster and has a great response time to it. Also your close-out buttons for the windows are slightly larger than in many other skins. That's one of my pet peeves about many of the WB skins...the close-out buttons at
Brightbelt
Many Thanks, Bichur.... Frank
Ok, so by adding them to the 'Add Per Application Setting', this KEEPS them from being skinned? Also, I'm familiar with .exe files to an extent, but I can't get whatever files are exe to show their extensions. I can request 'details' - are 'Application' files the same as exe files? Thanks for your help and for sticking with me, Frank
Hi, I'm on XP Media Ed. SP2. I already know to disable my Anti-Virus Program and my Spyware when I install Window Blinds. But still for some reason, Spy Sweeper freezes when I reactivate it after the Window Blinds install. I can bring up the spy sweeper window, but it just freezes at that point. I have also tried running different compatibility modes for Spy Sweeper and that didn't work - I haven't tried that with Window Blinds yet. One thing is clear
It's OK !! I found it. The file is SIG.BIN and the whole file path is: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Windowblinds\SIG.BIN I hope this helps someone. Thanks, Frank
Hi, During the installation of Window Blinds 5.5, it informs us to make a note of the activation file so you can copy it and not have to reactivate WB if you should have to do a reinstall. I can't remember what the name of the file is or the complete path to look. I know part of it is C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Window Blinds\what here???...... Many Thanks for any assistance, Frank
