Thanks for the reply... Moving cursor VERY slowly still doesn't "snap"... The "Adjust color and appearance" dialog in my install doesn't have the label options...only the "Adjust label text color..." and "Adjust icon transparency and Fence fading..." - Must also be OS dependent feature???

Improvements are moving in the right direction. The snapping control panel is a good feature. However, when in icon grid mode, the snap isn't quite in the right position; the tops of icons are visible at the bottom of the fence. This is visually distracting. This may be on purpose as a visual indicator of more content, but it detracts from the clean/uncluttered appearance I seek. When in "free" size mode, I miss the relative snapping when placing a fence adjacent to an alre
