Game Page: http://www.achrongame.com/ Anyone else heard about this game? Apparently it's been in development for a very long time, and still has quite a ways to go, but as an RTS fan, this has to be one of the coolest concepts for a game I've seen in a long time. Basically, it's your standard fare RTS game, harvest resources, build bases, build armies and steamroll your enemies,

How does one manage? That said, and Piracy issues aside, last i checked, the Pirates haven't been keeping up with the patches Sins gets, so I don't see how tha
I had been in FFA games with all players where one player complained of this exact thing and quit. But once I viewed the replay I saw no chatter between the two players, it was merely a coincidence.
We're talking about AI players, what does chatter between AI's have to do with anything? Players ganging up on one person in multiplayer is unrelated to this topic.
Ah so funny, yo

You dislike the registration? What's so bad about taking 30 seconds to enter some numbers to prove you actually own the game you want to update? Most 'standard' retail versions of games require you to enter the serial key at some point anyways, what's the difference? (I'm unfamiliar with the issue you had with your SN, human error for all I know, if not, just a small oversight somehwere along the line, easily corrected, not a major problem that merits any complaints against Impulse) A

Nope, static defenses stay active until destroyed. Edit: Actually, I'm not 100% sure all defenses stay active, I know turrets will keepp on going after the planet is lost but I've never really payed attention to whether repair bays and the like stay online. They certainly won't be scrapped upon the loss of the planet though, they will still need to be detroyed.

Since it is now possible to run Vanilla Sins and Entrenchment separately, just put the Mod in the Sins 1.15 Mod directory and run Sins without Entrenchment.
Puddlejumpers clearly state in their description and on the ability "Sublight Engines Only" that they lack hyperspace engines and thus are extremely slow travelling from planet to planet. This is completely intended and by design. If you want to be able to move Puddlejumpers from planet to planet then you will need to build Space Gates to do so quickly and efficiently. -dolynick
Ah, that makes sense I suppose, hadn't loo

Something I noticed in my last game (Playing as Wraith against Ancient AI), there seems to be an issue with Puddle Jumpers having a 10000% reduction in phase lane travel speed, basically leaving them in-transit almost indefinitely, (sorry if this has been mentioned before, don't have the time right now to read back 20 pages) Other than that, mod is starting to look nice ;) Obviously, custom models/textures could use some work, and I look forward to some far off point in the fu

Heh, my opinion would be the exact opposite of this. Impulse is the reason I don't pirate. When I'm bored and feel like browsing for a new game, I check Impulse. Then there's the occasional sales where you can get random games for 3.99 (I'm still playing Titan Quest and Dark Crusade). I love Impulse, and my list of software purchased through that is getting quite lengthy.
