Brad has a horribly mistaken view of the Star Wars canon.

We should probably explain what canon means to people: canon is when it's officially sanctioned as part of the universe. So in Star Wars, the books set after Return of the Jedi are considered non-canon. Whereas the movies are considered canon.
Glad someone else caught that (and I realize I'm a bit late on on this thread,

It's been a while since I've played the first Majesty, but after playing this one for a couple hours, I can't help but wonder if they even changed anything? Seriously, am I the only one thinking this is the exact same game with a graphics update?

One of the things I love about having everything managed by one program, (ie: Impulse), is the ease at which I can glance at that one screen to check that my games are all up to date, and simply click a button to update them if they are not. Naturally, any game developed/published by Stardock will have all the latest patches available through Impulse upon their release, no problems there. But what about other games? Using Sword of the Stars as an example, (since I just picked

I agree with you the Star Trek vs Star Wars in that it is a never ending, but I have looked around a lot, and I think that the Halo vs Star Wars is going to heat up to the STvsSW level. One major advantage that the Covenant have is Slipstreamspace drives, they are slower if you do not count the Forerunner Keyship. Unlike Star Wars Hyperspace, Slipspace is not through normal space, but another dimension.

You've got other things to worry about if a hacker is actually at your computer.

Is anyone else highly irritated with those official Starcraft 2 Battle Reports? I mean, they're playing like 'pro' players. I don't want to watch a quick match like that, with each player trying to take every opportunity to end the game as quickly and efficiently as possible. There will be plenty of time to watch that type of thing after the game is released. What I want to see now is games put on for show, I want to see the players construct some large bases, build some true

The problem here is that you're blaming people. Obviously people that leave early by choice deserve a good rant, but most of the time when you end up with AI players it is just issues with the connection process, which should not be the players responsibility beyond making sure their firewall isn't blocking it. As it is, that often isn't enough.

I fail to see why this should be offensive, it simly points out that if Killzone 2 is stronly associated with gays, then anyone uncomfortable with being thought of as gay themselves might steer clear to avoid suspicion. The only issue I see here is the actual statement that 72% of Killzone 2 buyers are homosexuals, presumably a made up statistic for the purposes of the post, but other than that, so what?

I haven't looked into it recently, so I could easily be wrong, but I don't believe anyone has officially announced anything regarding the status of the game.

The graphics are merely placeholders for playtesting the games engine, which is the majority of what they've worked on to date, and on that note, the important bit, the incorporation of time travel into the gameplay is fully functional. Umm...Question.. Does clicking and dragging your game on to Impulse allow you to Patch it via Impulse? Or to redownload it later? I'm assuming not, I doubt "where he loads it from" was the reason he was waiting for it on Steam. I'm imagine he wants it on steam for the support for the game offered through Steam, the same reason I get games through Impule when I have the option, so I can redownload them easily when I need to, and so that I c
