Looking great so far, Brian! Can't wait to see how it develops and anxious to see the finished product!

Congrats to everyone! Especially to my son, Mirsguy!! Way to go, Brian!! So proud of ya!!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Mirsguy, Neil, Cameochi......here's a big thank you and an update. I think I was making this harder than I needed to. I assumed I had to learn Skin Studio 7 and change the color there. I don't, of course, and that's probably what you were trying to tell me Cameochi. [e digicons][/e] I copied Miricla and gave it a new name, and it magically appeared in WB7. Then I colored the skin in WB7. Now had I only done it once I'd be posting this message much e
Add me to the list of those wanting to roll back to WB6. jb0615
Hi, Cameochi, Thanks for your response! Yes, I do have Skin Studio as part of my Object Desktop suite, and I just upgraded to Skin Studio 7 Professional through Impulse. After looking at Skin Studio 7 for a while I realize that I will need at least a week to learn the program since I know nothing about it. Either that or maybe, Brian, you can show me how to do it. [e digicons]|-)[/e] I do, however, think it's a poor move on Stardock's part to take that featu
My son, Mirsguy, told me to ask a question here to see if anyone can help. I'm thinking maybe I didn't ask the question very well the first time since I got no response. So I'll try again. I love the Window Blind he created, Miricla. In WB6 I could change the color, of course, and if I liked the color I could save it. I had about 7 or 8 colors saved. When I upgraded to WB7 those colors disappeared and I was left with the default blue.
I love the Miricla skin. In WB6 I was able to create and save colors in that skin. In WB7 I am not able to save any colors. Can some one tell me how to do this? Thank you?
Lookin' great, Mirsguy! Love that carbon fibre!! Looking forward to the finished product. [e digicons][/e] Others may not agree, but I tend to prefer a minimalistic start button. I definitely prefer the first one, and would like it even better if it were smaller (narrower) and took up less of the taskbar's real estate. Just MHO. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Well, Tailsgirl, Mirsguy is MY son! Happy Birthday, Brian!
Hey CarGuy, I owe you!! I downloaded the codec manager off the site you suggested and disabled the mpeg-2 codecs one at a time. It was the Cyberlink Video SP/decoder. Must have been from some old application judging by the date. Now everything works like a charm! And I really love 'Catch A Wave' and 'Among The Clouds'! Thanks so much for your help!
One of them is called 'among the clouds', another is 'tulips'. A few others are, 'moonlight', 'Redbloom'. 'catchawave', 'mana shades' and 'rockysurf'. Of course, once you save the file, the file itself doesn't say who the creator is, but I think at least one of them were yours. If you can help me in any way, that would be great!
I installed DeskScapes last night through Stardock Central. For the most part, things work well, except for one or two of the scapes that crashed and I deleted those. But on several of the deskscapes that I downloaded that I 'really' want to use, I get an error message that says, "Could Not Play Dream Video. The dream may contain an invalid video type or a compatible mpeg-2 video decoder may not be present. Click here for more information.." When I follow
I ordered it and it works just fine on Vista. Thanks everyone for your help.

I see where I can get a $5.00 discount for Object Dock Plus because I have an Object Desktop subscription. When I click on the link for the discount, it takes me to a page that says the versiobn of Object Dock Plus that I will be getting is for Windows 2000/xp only. Is this an out of date version that I'll be getting for $5.00 less??. I thought that Object Dock plus worked on Vista?? I run Vista and want the Object Dock Plus to use on my Vista system. Does anyone know the answer to this?
