sigh -_-; what a pain okay not that much. it also was fun, somehow... :^ i tried ResEdit and at the beginning i changed all "0 0 0" to "255 0 0" and got a pretty weird result, so i went trough the code and there was textcolor missing in of the sections. the section's name was [status] and just added textcolor. according to link SKS is able to edit .msstyles. hi does anyone of you know how to change the black letters to white letters? I had a look at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors but this is just what you are able to change under desk.cpl. apart from that every "0 0 0" value I changed to "255 255 255" and afair (was some time ago) it did not change. thanks for reading os: xp
