As mentioned, it's fair on Normal and Challenging, above that monsters attack AI less and below that they attack the human less. I just wanted to note that settling two tiles away from any lair is safe as long as you do not build any improvements on the lair's side of the village, do not let the village become a town, do not build a monument, i.e. don't let the border expand over the lair. Small lairs periodically produce an extra roaming unit though so aren't co

I'm relatively new to FE though my current game is on hard and essentially won but I'm planning on coasting to the turn limit for the achievement, hehe. I never lost the faction power lead and stayed ahead in techs. Nothing really compares to just having more cities. A few awesome high level cities = weak. A ton of really crappy villages = unstoppable powerhouse. In the time it took the 3 AI's to settle half the map I settled the other half (medium size). I think one very
You can find far better loot than leather armor. Being able to afford a full set of leather would in no way reduce my desire to loot everything I can find. It would make early game lairing easier though so perhaps that's why they don't want us running around in leather right away.
75% to hit equals 75 hits out of 100 attacks. 40% to hit equals 40 hits out of 100 attacks. That is a 47% reduction in hits/damage. It's not really a fair comparison though since 15 of that dodge came from sources other than the Wraith dodge. 35 Wraith dodge would be equivalent to 15 non-Wraith dodge - 40% hit rate vs 60% hit rate is 33% reduction in damage sustained. Is 33% damage reduction excessive compared to other racial bonuses? I don't kn
I haven't played SR2 in quite awhile; I got the game as soon as Excalibur offered it. Research materials are a consumable. The three research projects will progress slowly (20% irrc) without you bringing any materials. When you sell dominator salvage to the science stations the research rate will be increased while the materials are consumed. If you bring materials regularly you can easily keep at least the Terron research line at 100% continuously. You just need to bring in parts quick
