My fundamental issue with Elemental is that there are no battle fronts! Firstly, right off the bat, it is painfully obvious that neither my nor enemy cities are in any way unfortified...Ermmm...after some research I've produced a hedge. That's supposed to be a form of fortification!? I can raise and lower mountains, but my cities rely on a hyper gardener for protection. And let's face it, a 10% bonus tells me this gardener and his hedge both suck. I've fin

I have to save, exit and then reload game to correct this. 3) Game crashes periodically at en

"I'm so glad Stardock has such great post-release support." Huh!? Stardock has released Elemental in early Beta form, in case this has eluded everyone. They've been using sales of this unfinished product to complete their game. The state of graphics alone looks like concept drawings rather than a finished concept.

When I enable 3-D / higher graphics for the world map, my characters sink into the ground so that only their heads are visible when I attempt to zoom in on them. Given the fact, that this is the very first thing that I see when I load or start a campaign, I would expect such a bug from an early-stage Beta, not from a marketed product. Very poor work! P.S. This game features one of the most useless game manuals ever written!

The great thing about multi-player options is that those who want to utilize them can and those who don't are free to ignore them while losing absolutely nothing as consequence of their choice. I personally would like to see a multi-player option for Galactic Civ II. My friends and I get together periodically to do strategic gaming, have a beer and a few laughs. Campaigns can then be saved to be resumed later over another beer (and pizza, of course...but I figure you already knew that

" It was excellent. Frankly, I am extremely disappointed right abut now. I bought this game specifically to multi-play with my friend and it looks like yet again I've been ripped off my money. If a game like this does not have multi-player options, then it should have a clear warning on it.
