alien tech vs tech victory? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi, Maybe this seems like a stupid question and is answered somewhere in the game but I haven't found it yet. Having bought GC gold I noticed as well as Technological victory an additional victory condition called Alien tech victory has been added. What is the difference between the two? I'd be thankful for any info or a pointer on where/how to find out. thanks

I have the gold edition on one CD as well. Ap runs by default i think. The main menu reflects the change so you'll know something's is worng if it doesnt say that. Check your installation directory e.g. c:\program fils\enlight\galactic civilizations gold. There should be a folder called AltianProphecy.
