yeah I have this error as well, had it on day one, still have it today. Generally happens around 30-45 min in for me, less if i load a saved game where it happened before. Hard to play a long strategy game when you can't go 30 minutes without crashing unexpectedly.
Well I just "finished" my first multiplayer game of elemental (a 1v1 via the matchmaking system, ended due to out of memory crash), there was some good there, some bad. First off I am wondering if the multiplayer is still running on the previous patch as some of the 1.08 changes don't seem to be in multiplayer (or at the very least aren't displayed, such as the food cost for merchants), or is multiplayer supposed to have completely seperate values? Well, just played through most of a 1.08 game (got out of memory crash before I could finish, will probably go back later, Nvidia card btw). I like the gold change, makes purchases more meaningful (though champions + sovereign still need something to help them late game and the more expensive weapons are definitely not worth buying), and still not too hard to achieve a nice gold income. Magic is definitely stronger (or the shards I had worked better :P), also longbows seem a lot stronge
As far as sovereign deaths = loss goes, I would really like if, when the sovereign died, the next in line for the throne took over that position (since the game orders their offspring in this way anyway..) and so on and so forth until there are no heirs left. Makes diplomatic relations more desirable as well.

Yep, same issue here on windows 7 64bit, diplomacy crashes about 45 minutes in every time. Entrenchment and the original sins work fine though. Not a memory issue, i can turn it to the lowest settings and it still crashes at precisely the same time.. Surprised nobody has found a solution to this yet..
Yep same issue here, got diplomacy today and it crashes about 45 minutes into the game every game, no error message. On windows 7 64bit home premium geforce gtx 280m graphics card intel i7 processor Q720 4gb ram Doesn't appear to be a minidump, reinstalled the game once already, had no effect on the problem, can play the original sins and entrenchment just fine though.
