GalCiv2 Forumsa good one would be that the united planets is divided into two opposing sides (good and evil) and the neutral factions have to be persuaded to join your side. this would give the good races a better chance in winning a war because they are better at diplomacy and so are more likely to get the neutral factions to join there cause, while the evil races would not gain as many additional allies but are usually more powerful anyway (this would create a sort of cold war situation with the new "good"
