I have been a fan of Stardock and it's products for a long time. This is the first game I've ever tried, which I just bought yesterday, and was curious about mods for it as I've been playing around with the map construct program all day. When I saw this forum post about the ST mod being a matter of simply not "if", but "when", I nearly shit myself. This game in and of itself is awesome, but to think that you guys are putting this much time and effort into making a truly great 4x RTS ST game..

You definitely have at least a couple of issues going on here. First, the 3.4 duals run rather hot to begin with, but to save yourself money, try playing around with a couple of items in your BIOS first: 1) Make sure that any dynamic overclocking settings in your BIOS is turned off. Those programs almost always cause reliability/stability issues. 2) If the first doesn't help much, try lowering the voltage -in small increments- of your cpu core. Wow thanks guys, especially Fuzzy Logic. I hooked up the hdd's into another system, formatted them so that the little bit of XP OS was wiped away, then hooked them back up. I got the ntldr is missing screen, googled that, took the first guy's advice that fixed their system and kicked the damn machine, which didn't work, but made me feel a whole lot better, then reset my bios as later suggested. I d/l'd the updated driver from Intel and the XP F6 setup still doesn't want to read the drivers... Fuzzy, I get a Stop error message 0x0000007B, but the other quantity sequences are different. Any other links you might have available? That one didn't seem to get me much further. Thanks guys.

Yeah, I pressed F6 to load up the driver I needed for the raid setup for the 3rd party raid driver install, but when the XP install loads back up afterward, it says it can't find the proper file(s) on the floppy...

Ok, here's the problem: I've just purchased all the components for a new computer and I cannot get Windows XP to install on the hard drives!?! I purchased the Intel DG965WH mobo, running a E6700 duo core cpu w/2 gigs Kingston 667 fsb, and two identical hitachi 80gb sata-II's running in raid-0.
