I had the exact opposite experience with Vista and ATI.....gave up and went to a different laptop running a NVidia GF 7600 and couldn't be happier. Have always been a big ATI fan, but NVidia seems to be ahead in the current cycle. Funny how things change every 6 or 12 months. Have to agree with Snidely regarding Vista not crashing. I've been running it for 5 months now and haven't had any complaints other than the UAC crap that I turn off.
