FYI on Beta 4 with Thalon population -30 in Beta Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Just a heads up to anyone trying to use the new race Thalons on beta 4. You will want to either research at least %40 population bonuses from the tech tree before your initial money runs out or choose moral bonuses or pop bonuses for your initial picks when choosing your race. I have played the korath Clan twice on gigantic map with 9 other races on crippling for twilight of the arnor. My modifications included speed +2 and weapons +20 which made their weapons have +45 boost overall which seems a little overpowered with other modifications in their tech. I confirm this bug as well. Same as the poster. I attack anything and have to save and quit and get back in not just orbital ships. This error doesn't seem to be showing up in the debug either.

Just tried to play on a tiny galaxy and had a crash as well. I emailed my smart exception error to [email protected]. I think something is wrong with this new beta they released. I had issues with turn button and everything else before but I could always reload and get through it. It crashes on the same turn every time now and I can't complete a game hehehe. It is a beta though.

I think the turn button issue was fixed in the dec 14 beta. I have not had that issue since that update. Not only that but I just had to quit the game and get back in to fix that issue. My game gets a memory leak I believe. I unable to get passed a turn. I load the game turn off all ship auto pilots

I think I have kind of the same problem. I haven't been able to finish my last 2 games which sucks after putting 6-7 hours in building up your colonies. My recent one I can't even get past a certain turn and I get the send error report after a black screen for a minute. I am running on a relatively old computer but I have been able to finish campaign's in the prior versions before TA without these problems. Here is one of the debugs. Also maybe a battle fleet scene added if a starbase has 5+ modules like a bunch of x wings trying to destroy the death star hehehe. x wing deathstar was just a joke but hopefully you know what I mean.

Each Race has its own technology tree. I suggest changing the goverment techs around a little. Are the Korath really going to have a star democracy like everyone else? Why can't it be Star Dictator? Star Feudal. Evil Democracy. I.E. Your minions now have more power through goverment channels.
