I have been playing the game for a little over a year now. I would like to step up to the Metaverse and see what I can do. I need assistance in creating and adding a player.

Is having each planet be balanced a good idea at all? Either way works, specialized or generic. One thing you need to consider is the number of habitables in your game. If each race only has a few planets, then losing one is a big deal. In a gigantic/abundant game with max habitables, you can lose a number and not worry about it, even if they're specialized. I play mostly gig/abun so my comments are oriented toward that. <d
Eyes on the Universe and scouts - good info - thanks
Good tips - thanks
It was very useful to me. Like anything else it needs more user support. I'm so new to gaming that I wouldn't be a good source for useful info. But, I've been reading posts from what I believe are power players, who could add extremely useful data. Try replying to their posts and ask for their help. Maybe a few will even like the chance to teach what they know to others. This could greatly increase the value f the game. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/tgNET/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 align="
I don't have the words to describe my feelings about it. !!!!!!!!!! :CONGRAT:
Renfl - thanks to you - I didn't know that piece of information - it has allowed me to see things in a better light. Knowing this I can work around it. Thanks again and Merry Xmas to you and yours.
That was the first thing I did. It was nice to win quick in the begining. It helped, keep frustration down as I was learning the hidden parts of the game. As I got a better understanding of just what was really happening, I realized I was missing so much that the game has to offer. I may just may be learning a new thing, what I see as a glitch may and most probably is just my lack of understanding of how it works.
If your memory is less than 2 gig - don't worry it crashes - before you get there - I have yet to find a way around the issue. I've been looking for a way to increase the swap files - I can't seem to find it as of yet. I really like the huge etc. size. But I fear I will have to purchase a better machine - OH YEA - and get rid of VISTA.

When I first loaded the program, the desktop icon was blank. After a short time, I learned that I could go on-line and update the program. I followed my friends instructions and the program updated to another version. After that the Icon had the word VISTA below it. Being a new user, I assumed that the program had been modified to work with Vista. To my amasement the pesky little glitches I had been experiencing no longer presented themselves. After the crash, my fault I'm sure, I reloaded the
