Love the Sid Meiers series of games . My fav is railroads, my wifes is civcity Rome. Both of these games appear to play fine and cause no issues with my Dimension E510, I kept getting a minor crass with railroad tycoon.
Going to do both. Im going to hit the rode for a while than finish {I hope} my second attempt at a gigantic map. MY first attempt played well up until I posted to the Metaverse then it crashed didnt get the end screen with my score either.

impulse did'nt list Toa as loaded on my set up either .I remembered a post that said to completely remove Toa beta before loading the finished product or odd things might happen, so I went to SD central and removed it. Cleared out all the files on my computer and finally cleaned out the drive. I went to impulse, it now was waiting for mee to load Toa, so I did and no problems listing my games this morning.I'm now waiting for a post to tell us all to remove SD central, not sure if we need it any
Good news just in from National Geographic Channel. The tv show [Educational tv?] shown on that channel about a month ago states that if we all were to just vanish from the planet it would bounce back from all we have done to it in less than 1000 years and remove most evidence of our existance in 10000 years. If they show it on tv it must be true. Right.
my first game was atari missile command on cassette for the atari 400, it was also the only thing that worked on the silly thing{1983}. my next game was activisions call to power 2 which I played on an E machine my wife bought in 2000. Yes I went computer free for almost 18 years.

I know a girl who plays Civ3 and 4. She likes the hotseat mode of play, but I have known her to play the computer also.I also know she likes Champions for ps2, she has played a elf cleric past level 50. Her fav seems to be sims2 , she has all the updates. Sims kick my butt every time . I keep getting killed cooking. I am still trying to get her to play gal civ 2 thou. She does like other things not gaming like cruising on our motercycle when we can get a baby sitter and -------wait,have to wrap
I work in a production plant that just added computers to the production floor. It took only six weeks to get a log on that worked and just last week the printer died. Lucky for me we have a HELP DESK. Plant mgr. feels we dont need a in house comp tech. Now if I ever get a phone at that desk i'll be all set. Nearest one is fourty feet away and crosses the fork trucks path. I don' know what we use but I only can assume its the most up to date.

I love the speed mega event as I rarly build ships faster than 7 anyway, more room for guns. Did get mega peacekeepers once super fast super armored and what must of been a recreation of ww1 fighter pilots using thier hunting rifles as main guns (Think 1915 recon planes) mega silly
Had a similar problem except all were playing d&d while wierd little me was hooked on starfleet battles. Now some thirty years later I still delight some and annoy others with my heroic retelling of my latest GalCiv II exploits. [B][/B]What happened to the galatic peacekeepers? I was playing a large map with 6 minor races {yor beat them all} and 6 major races, {yor were dealing death to 2 of them and had 60% influnce. Just in time the Peacekeepers show up and wipe out all bases and most of the ships everyone had. I think great now to wait ,build, research and get ready to help the yor maintain thier planets by taking some back. Well the yor are sending waves of troop transports at me {10 or more at a time]<
I like to gift them to my future conquests and watch thier economy crash trying to support them. When I declair war I just get a bunch more that I send to my next victim.
