Holy crap, if you don't like a single player campaign, just don't play it. There are loads of us who want a single player campaign, don't come and tell us what we want and do not want, it's not a voting contest.
Irony!

Grim; that's present in all modern 3d-games. I forgot the name of it though, uses 2x, 4x, 8x and such. Once more tools are released, I'm going to see if I can make the bump look better on ships; which will make them more complex looking. Sins is designed more for lower-class computers, not ultra-modern ones. Which means that many models are low poly.

They backstabbed you 0300. I wish that you could gain some friendliness for giving them resources though; perhaps have the benifets decrease depending on how much resources they have, and how much you've given them.

I've tried taking pictures ingame; telling me that they're saved to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\pictures and as a .bmp; but I have yet to see any files in it. I've tried exiting Sins already. I am using windows xp; no firewall present.

Haha, you can make random maps with it. In fact, you can make it entirely random. You have options though; number of stars, number of planets, distance planets are to each other, ect. You can create some pretty fun scenarios with it, such as stars surrounded by pirate bases; sounded by random planets. It has alot of power.

Wow, didn't realize it was that easy to make maps. Small learning curve to it, and takes some time but totally worth it. Anyone else using it to make their maps? EDIT: Suggestion: Include an option for what players start in the galaxy if possible, or as a single player option.

Once more tools are released, users will start creating higher detailed textures, and better particle effects. As for the ships slowly breaking down; sins doesn't have millions to spend on the design of this game. It just wouldn't be feasible with the time scale they had.

Leave it, please! I don't want the enemy to only use predictable attacks; when I was playing earlier I never expected him to do that. For me, it happened about an hour into the game; so I could send my secondary attack force to deal with them. By the time I was able to react, jump 3 planets and jump them I had like 2 planets (and losing the third). It wasn't hard to kill them off :/ So leave it; it's fun!

Than leave, even though a mod will probably ban me with "We don't want you here either"; No one wants you here. This is not an emergency. This is just your impatience and adhd showing.

Maybe it takes awhile; or more than 500 credits but the AI doesn't seem to respond to gifts of money. It would be fun when the AI is given money, it responds based on their liking of you. Hate- Doesn't improve liking of you; might display "Now I can build the ship that kills you!" Neutral- Improves relationship moderately, might accept it as a bribe if they are attacking you Friendly- Doesn't improve it too much; but increases the chance they will accept to peace treaties/agreements

Pirating things can help with advertising, and helps bring new artists/movies into the open air. Legally: Pirating is illegal and shouldn't be done. Socially: Depends on the person. Most people don't give a crap, they probably wouldn't have bought the music anyway (for movies though, I'd rather have people rent it or something) But an opinion is an opinion, and with the glorious internet My Opinion Is Always More Factual and Better Than Yours.
