If I remember correctly the 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400-HD, DVI, VGA adapter, HDMI video card is an OEM onboard graphics processor that relies on system memory for its 256MB. I'm not confident this will work well with graphics rendering programs. Slow... would be my expectation.
What would you recommend then? If I recall, when my son was checking out the options, he had some other choices.

Actually, I kinda like reading about what others think of a Windowblind, IP, SMX, etc. These kind of comments would be good to put in the comments of the skin you downloaded too. I know *I* would like feedback of this kind on anything I make. :D
Where are you buying it from? Because of some outlets or dealers (like Tiger Direct) are truning around refurbished computers be sure this is a new one. No modem, how are you connecting to the internet. Modem aren't expensive.
My son got the info directly from the HP website, I think. I have a Linksys wireless internet connection right now. I dont know if it will be compatible with the new computer or not. I didn't know that a modem needed to be *in* the computer, or doe
I need some advice. I know next to nothing about computer specs, but I'm planning on getting a new computer soon. I realize that it will probably have Vista on it so it will need lots of RAM, but thats about all I know. My son was looking up different computers and comparing prices, etc. This is one of the options he came up with. ------------ Hp s3400z Computer Windows Vista Home Premium w/Service Pack 1 2.3 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ dual-core processor<BR
I think how do i make shorter?
I also found out that if the content margins on the text are too big, it will do that too. If you're using a large text, and/or have those margins fairly large , it tend to mess up things.
You do not need to change system font colors to change the button text color. 1. Go to the button menu and click on the text tab. 2. There is a dropdown box for the different states the button has. You can change the font color for each state. 3. This is where you can change the color of the font. It is basicaly the same for the font color in the menus. [img]http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/
That's awesome! Congrats!! :CONGRAT:
Very serene, Noiram! I guess I should have a go at it too. :D
I have some comments out of order too. I started a ticket at Stardock, about the deleting the comment thing, quite a while ago. I got the email stating that they have recieved my email and would look in to it, but still no fix to this.
Me too, I have 12 total and it says I have 19.
Thank you Skinhit!
.I think I remember seeing a screenshot of a blind in progress.
You did. :D Thank you, ID!
Go to the menu in question in SKS6 and click on the text tab. If you change the margins for the text it will change the size of the menu. It puts more space around the text, making the menu stretch more. Just increase the margins a couple of pixels at a time, because just a small change can change the size of the menu drastically. Adjust it till your happy with it.

I didnt know that. So it looks like IE8 will skin them, at least partially. :NOTSURE: Oh well, guess I'll have to wait till I get a new 'puter with Vista on it.
I was having this issue with a blind I was making. No matter what I did, the shadow would not go away. I had to enable the shadow in SKS6 and then put the blind in SKS5 and disable it. That took care of it. I have not seen the problem since. I realize that this is probably not the solution you were looking for, but if you have SKS5 and SKS6, give it a try and see what happens. I'm curious to see if it gets rid of the shadows on all your blinds or not. (My thinking is that some setting is 'st
IE7 is hard coded on XP.
That went right over my head.
Greeeeeeeen.
oooooooo, I like!
I hear IE8 is in beta... I have not had the courage to go try it out, I wonder if it shows in that?
The tabs will not skin in XP on IE7. It irritates me too, but even if you skin the tabs in Skinstudio, it will not show in IE7. :( It is an OS thing.
Thanks AVMAN! :D
