Hi Pic, I did'nt think that the pink in the preview mattered either. That's why I was so shocked when it was rejected. Maybe he got the pink on the skin....maybe he saw it in the preview window and assumed it was on the skin too? I dunno. I'm awaiting his reply. I looked at another skin that used a .bmp for the top bar with magic pink in it. The pink is not showing on the preview of that one. I'm wondering if the fact that my computer will not support per pixel has anything to

Window Frame Problem in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I submitted my first Windowblind. It got rejected! The reason was because the window frames 'were showing magic pink'. I sent a note to the moderator but have not heard back yet (I think he might be busy). Heres my issue. When I import the pieces as .tga this is what I get.... [img]http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/408/whensavedaspngqy7.jpg[/img] Notice that there is black on all the parts, including the skin itself. When I import them as .bmp this is what I get..

I've had that problem with the text you're showing in the picture..I do not have Firefox. I'm using IE7 on Windows XP Pro, so I'm guessing it's not a Firefox issue.

You post was not long winded, or a waste of time to read. I agree, the subscription is well worth the money! I've been a member here for less than a year and it feels like home. The people on this site feel like family. There is no other place that can compare to it. I will renew my sub every time its due. You all are stuck with me!!! :LOL:

Screenshot Upload Issue in WinCustomize Site Issues WinCustomize Forums

I uploaded my desktop screenshot to my personal site last night. It shows the image on the "update images" screen as if it took the image, but it's not showing on my personal site. It's not a big deal, I can try to upload again when I get home tonight but, it WAS on my site last night and now it's not.

I saved them in another file anyway, just in case, and never had to use it. The tabbed docks are so cool and the ability to tweak the colors wonderful. You'll love it!

Thought I'd stop in again to tell you that I found where to change the background of "more programs" on the start menu in SKS6. It's under "change skin colors". If you go there, at the top of the screen is a dropown menu, choose "show skin deined system colors"....it's the "menu highlight" button. :D

I have a couple more questions... On the start menu, when I mouse over the "log off" "turn off computer" and "all programs", it's blue(yuk). I can't figure out how to change that. Is there a way? What are "coloring masks" for, and how do you use them? Are there any tuts out there for creating sub styles? I have no clue how to make one, or if I even need to. Thanks again for all your help. :D

Got it fixed, you were right. :D I turned off the color managment in Gimp and unchecked the box in Windowbinds that allows you to change the color of the blind. All is well! Thanks guys!!
