(Nice skin by the way)!! Thanks Boxxi. That means alot to me, comming from you. I decided to delete the skin and rename it(I didnt want to irritate a master). I'll have to think of a good name thats not being used and upload it again.

I just uploaded a Xion skin, got the email back that it was approved....then noticed it didnt show up in the gallery. It's on my personal site with no rating. Then I discovered that I named it the same name as a windowblind! Should I rename it? I didnt know the name was already used until it was too late.
Nice questions RRRozie. I agree. I'd like to see all of them answered!
Can Paint.net do layer sets?
I've heard there is a PS plugin for GIMP but not sure how it works. I'll look into that. I know someone with photoshop, hate to bother him with it though, would make it difficult to test it out if I had to send it to someone every time I wanted to check it. Looks like I need to get Photoshop. Thanks everybody for trying to help me!
Thanks for the tips. next you should put all the layers in a layerset and name it animation animtype(9) direction(0) (JUST LIKE THAT) that's the simple name, you can do other stuff though. Gimp will not do layer sets. Is that going to be a problem?
Still not working. I have to be missing something important. I named the layers exactly like the example.
Hmmm, so, "passthrough" isn't needed. Looks like each layer has to be named and numbered somehow. I'll have to so more experimenting.
anyone?
I downloaded Quinten94's Airleen Xion and watched in wonder at the speakers that thumped with the music. I decided to give that a try. I opened up the Airleen and looked at the layers. It did'nt look too hard..... but I can't get it to work! 1. Do the layers have to have the word "passthrough" on them? 2. Do the layers have to right above a specific layer? (I want them to react to the ba
I dont know where you are Fuzzy, but I'm have the same problem this morning. I'm in the US. I sent a report to stardock.
wr@ith, I just uploaded higher resolutions for the wall you put a comment on the other day. It is awaiting moderation. If you want it, I can email it to you, or you can download it when its ready.
You got GIMP? WWW Link Photoshop will work too, but GIMP is free.
Sweet! I'll have to play with that a bit and see how mine handles it. Thanks Bichur!
Didn't know that was possible. How do you do that?
Congrats!! She's beautiful!!
Congrats zeolyte and basj!!
[quoteOD already has sub-catagories.
Once again, I learn something new about what this site can do...
It should still be able to read the .psd file, mine does. Have you tried loading a .psd file from a different skin...just to see if its the Xion or the skin?
I had the same problem with getting rid of the recycle bin from my desktop and icons not working when I delete the shortcut off the desktop. I found a really simple solution. Just hide the desktop icons by right clicking the desktop, choosing "arrange icons by" and uncheck it. The icons are still there but you cant see them.
Did you save it into in the Xion interfaces folder? It has to be saved there for the program to read it.
Have you tried skinning Xion (the music player)? So easy and lots of fun./quote] Yeah, I put my first Xion skin in the contest! I'm waiting for the results.....there's some really good competition there too. I had fun making it and plan to make more. I managed to make the Sysmetrix I wanted...by trial and error (It matches the Xion in the contest). What I didnt realize when I first started making the Sysmetrix was that the program will make the .ini file for you. I thoug
I got this in my email today. It was so cool I had to show ya!! A scene you will probably never get to see, so take a moment and enjoy This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point. And, you also see the sun below the moon. An amazing photo and not one easily duplicated. The Chinese have a saying that goes something like this: "When someone
