GalCiv2 ForumsSure didn't work for me. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8 x64 Pro. When I run Gal Civ2, it starts and lets me configure the game but when it starts to launch, Gal Civ2 crashes. Not sure what to do here. I am not going back to Windows 7 as wonderful as it was. We need to keep moving forward with the latest windows which is Windows 8. Any ideas on what to do to make it work with Windows 8 64 bit?
