Finally thought I'd try to backup my docks and then restore them to see what happens. Well.... it didn't go as planned. The docks were really screwed up. At this point I noticed my system tray tab was now empty. So I restored the folders that held my configuration from a Ghost backup I took this morning. My docks came back fine except the tray tab is still empty. Tried creating a new ones but they were all empty too. I also ran a system restore&

If that's the case it ought to be changed. With larger and larger widescreen LCD monitors the normal 96dpi has become to small for many of us.
The stacks docklet doesn't work too well when your dock is at the top of the screen which the picture indicates. Seems the flyouts only want to go up and not down. Personally I would like to be able to use stacks on my tabbed dock on the top of my screen.
Perhaps this is why there is no install button.
will do.

Impulse shows me their is a beta update to OD+ but there is no Install button. I have OD+ v1.90 build 537u beta release. How do I get this beta
Personally I just gave up using WB. Just too many little gotchas mostly visual. Fonts are usually to small and making them bigger creates other problems. I'll stick to Aero.
I don't use Feeds. When I first display a drop down favorite group all the entries have the arrow for a second and then the sites that have a Favicon lose the arrow. All except one site, MSNBC, which has an arrow for some reason. Using normal Aero theme there are no arrows.
Why do I get these arrows on my drop down Favorites Menu in IE7 (Vista)? They only appear for sites that do not have a Favicon associated with them. All my WB themes do this. Running the very latest WB version.
A thought.... Are you running IE and subsequently WU from OD? OD runs everything under it's own process. Might be an issue with this for you. Try running IE from the Start Menu and see what happens.
My tabbed dock at the top of my screen positions itself off center coming out of games that do not match my desktop resolution. However, my zoomer dock at the bottom behaves as it should. I have autohide enabled for it.
I posted the problem of the tabs showing on top of maximized windows even though all the options are set properly. Investigating the problem I discovered that it looks like it might be a timing problem. If I let OD+ load with windows it is a hit or miss (mostly miss) whether my tabs will not be on top. If I don't let OD+ start with windows and then start it up myself after Windows is done loading I have no problem. You can also click on the tabs on top menu option twice to get things
Good catch. Works the same way for me too. So who is the culprit, OD+ or Quicken?
My docks work somewhat in Quicken. They pop up and I can click on an icon to get to another program. However the zoom affect doesn't work at all. Furthermore, if I open up IE7 in addition to Quicken I completely lose the docks. Can't open them in either Quicken or IE7. Might not be just IE7 that does this. I run both of these full screen on a 1680x1050 DFP monitor. Just tried a few ore things. Any other full screen app that is running along with Quicken will prod
Not to much to fill in and you aren't doing anything illegal. [link="http://www.quicken.com.au/PersonalFinance/HomeBusiness/trial.aspx"]WWW Link[/link]
I have the same problem. Quicken seems to handle it's display out of the ordinary which perhaps is why OD has problems with it.
Thanks
I've been using the option in OD+ to change the icons on my systray tabbed dock to better looking ones because it seems the default ones are of lower resolution. I guess they are the same ones that are on the 'real' systray. This hasn't been a problem until I installed an application where the systray icon changes to indicate some status for the application. Firewall icons are a good example. Changing the default icon in the OD+ systray to anot
Does anyone else find that Accuweather is not so accurate? The other day it was 78 degrees Fahrenheit here and partly sunny. All the other weather services had it right except for AW which said it was 70 and cloudy. Not just the docklet but the site too. I find TWC to be more accurate IMO.
The weather docklet isn't displaying the proper temp today and even doing an update doesn't work. I'm going back to SysStats and the XML weather docklet. It uses TWC and is always spot on. The only cool thing with OD weather is the flyouts. Can this be done using SysStats?
At the moment I am using two SysStats docklets that get an XML feed from TWC. One is like the OD weather docklet but no forecast flyout. My other docklet is a six day forecast. So I get the same thing but using 2 docklets. Actually the one with the temp gives you the shortrange forecast on a mouseover which is nice.
Oops... just lost the feed again. Maybe they should use The Weather Channel for the feed.
Same thing happened to me but this morning the icon came back. Probably a problem at Accuweathers end.
Hey, I'm from NJ too. My weather came back just after I wrote my previous post. Lets hope it stays for good.
