Help. DA crashing after I hit turn button in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I recently installed my old copy of DA on a computer my brother gave me. The game runs perfectly, except that it will sometimes crash just after I hit the turn button. At first I could get a few hours of play before it would crash, but now it crashes within a few turns of starting a game. The only time it crashes is after I hit the turn button.
