“So like I was sayin’, Wolfshit was on and on bitchin’ about the pile of trash that that old oil field dude left piled up behind his grandpa’s rent house after he cut out during the night 'cause he was scared he was goin' to the pen for all his DWI's. And so I asked him, what kind of trash are we talkin’ about? You know, ‘cause if that old dude worked i
Shake for me girl. I wanna be your backdoor man… Shieet. Now as the Artist Formerly Known As Prince (or whatever the hell it is he’s going by these days) once said, dig if you will a picture: middle-aged man bumpin' along at a sweaty six-point-five mile an hour pace with his ipod shuffle earbuds in place and sayin’ that Zeppelin lyric out loud

But, you know what life really is? You're born, you suck your mother's tits. You get a little older, you suck your girlfriend's tits. You get married, you suck your wife’s tits. And that’s what life is. Life sucks. -John Ryman, When Galaxies Collide ~~~ I’ve always heard that it was differences of opinions that made horse races. Well if t
a greater good
I know all about those greater goods Nick and sometimes you just gotta suck it up and heave-ho head first right on into them. Like going to that damned gym everyday. Or changing jobs. Or letting go of your little one when they become, well...not so much of a little one anymore. Anyhoo...hang in there Nick! Moving toward the greater good, I have found, is worth the struggle. (glad to see you back too, girl! :) )
Congrats! Sounds like a dream come true for you. Have fun, learn something, and good luck!
Congratualations! The 1000th should be very special indeed.
:CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: ;)
I stumbled upon and read an interesting quote the other day Maso. It went: It's not so much what you believe, but how you believe. (sorry I'm late to this one. How did I manage to miss it?)

Bduh, bdudh, bduh thattttt's all folks! In light of recent events, that's a pretty ironic comment there. Heh, and so's the title of this article when you stop and think about it.
I'm bet ya'll (better get used to hearing that again -you know, "ya'll" ) be glad to be back in God's country!
I want him to read this and hopefully see sense.
And I hope this helps. But if it don't, tell him I understand.
Ah, sheeit, man. There's no point in going down Memory Lane. All the What-Ifs and the Could've-Beens are all just ways of not looking square at yo'self now and accepting where you are. I should know, I've done it a lot. It's tough giving up old fantasies, including the Virginal Heart, but in the words of the Prophet Richard Pryor: "A boy become
I second what M-Post said. I've kinda reached a little plateau myself at 209 lbs after dropping down fairly quickly from 260! But...I keep going. Lately I've been doing (or trying to do, lol) intervals: run flat out for a minute then slow to a brisk walk for two. All in all (including about five of the intervals and a mile run @ 6 miles an hour plus lots of brisk walking and off an on different hieghts of incline) I do 4 miles a day 6 days a week. Anyway, hang in there Donna! We'll be skinny one
And that is what really matters.
Absolutly Doc. I agree.
Damn women and their lingering effects on the male psyche...
Yes! It's like that perfume she wore. When I get a hint of it now in the mall or the movies or at a restaraunt in can so transport you back.
Mine had a different ending. It said....'if it doesn't come back, hunt it down and kill it.'
Hahaha! I remember that one too! I thought about that but
Can I get an 'amen?'
Amen! I heartedly concur.
