Yeah, I feel that way about computers alot at work too. Things ran a whole lot better and more efficient when we just used a pen and paper.

The battle I always thought I’d win I now hardly understand I hear ya, brother. Loud and clear.
You are wonderful people who continue to delight, confound, inspire, befuddle, humour and challenge me. I am thankful to you all and more grateful than you could ever know to call you friends. I couldn't agree more. And Happy Thanksgiving Maso, good wishes ignore borders, you know.
Wow. Once I had the electrodes of a taser loosely attached on both sides of my stomach just over the belt line and got a ONE SECOND jolt. I am here to tell you that THAT SHIT HURTS ! I can't imagine getting a full jolt and multiple times to boot! But then it might help to be hammered too...
Perfect timing this post -as I check in to see what's goin' on in JU land before heading out to pick up about fifty trays to give to some fine folks who can't get out for Thanksgiving. And yes, thanks for adding to my nearly endless list of things I'm thankful for -the fine, fun, good people I've met in this weird detatched world called the internet. May God (or Karma or Chance or even favorable statistics) bless you all.
Wow, powerful stuff... (you on a roll or what? )
May serendipity find you tomorrow, Mason, and in a most unexpectedly pleasant way. I concur.
Woo Maso this one flies over my simple little head! But it has a nice rhythm to it all the same.
I had a teacher who had polio as a child. He's retired now and doing fine.
I understand exactly how you feel. Sometimes books really can be a best friend at it is sad to come to the last page. Heh, I remember when I was a kid and how I felt when I finished Charlotte's Web of all things! And then it can even extend to TV shows like M*A*S*H and Cheers and...
Hey Nick I just joined a gym! Other than in school I've never belonged to one. I guess that's a sign I'm getting older -to the gym now and not the bar, sigh... Anyway, good luck with your program. And I gotta ask: you think we're gonna be able to keep this up?
Wow, thanks everyone! And thanks Donna for the b-day article! So far 47 is looking an awful lot like 46 did -so far! Had to go to work today, but it was an easy day and all my staff (and clients too even!) wished me a great day. Tonight some family/friends are taking me out for Mexican food and my oldest is coming in from school (haven't seen him since August) and so it's shaking up to be a really good b-day. Heh, I even bought myself a present, a membership to a gym -part and parcel of t
In exactly what way is it a comfort to know that people and brute beasts alike have always suffered? If you're sick and miserable is it a consolation to know that millions before you have suffered, millions are suffering now, and millions will suffer in the future? Well...you know what they say. Misery loves company!
Buddha is bald too. ...as well as fat. And he sits crosslegged like a girl. And he questions things like "why is there suffering?" and "why is there death?" And...and... (a good 'un Maso!)
Sure I do. It's just that you're not listening.
What real comfort has your faith to offer those who suffer innocently? I would venture to say that comfort can be found in the fact that it's always been the lot of the innocent to suffer -at least right now anyway. But then I don't know if I'm qualified to answer as I'm not really one of the 'Religious' of JU either.
I know this is as old as granma's titty and twice as dusty and I've told it before, but it bares repeating here: Q: what can a cow do that a woman can't? A: stand in water up to her tits without getting her ass wet.
Sick fuck. at least he's a dead fuck now, Zoo!
All Andy Capp had to do was .. err .. I mean all Brian Johnson had to do was come and sing You just haven't heard AC/DC until a marching band plays it.
I thought if you were from Texas, it would be more like 'Moooo, mooooo... nah...you need a step ladder for cows!
anyway...there's a lot of monsters out there. Take ole Ronald there -he looked harmless enough, huh? Anyway I say that all the time but nobody seems to believe me and when I remind them, some even get offended! So again, thanks for the awareness and light you've generated here.
