And yes, here's the obligatory YouTube embedded link...
He was stretched out languidly (and had been just waiting for the chance to use that word, too. Languidly. It sounded so la-te-da literary ‘n shit) on a rock and soaking in the late October warmth like a sunning snake. Before long, he knew, the warmth would be gone for a few months and oh how he’d miss it! After a while, he grew restle
Dude! I hope you paid attention to my bitch on yer!!! Don't worry! My old lady's got dibs on a chunk of my ass over you if I don't. I have blood work to do in the ay-em too by the way and she even threatened to go with me, haha...

You know, I've got to start writing some things like these...random blurbs just sound like a fun thing to do. ...And I'd love to read 'em! This doesn't surprise me. This
I always enjoy your tales from the road, Mason. Reading them is a nice past time for those of us stuck in one place.

He shuffled and contemplated on a deck of cards from Caesar’s Palace that he always kept in his backpack along with his necessary various and sundries and that confounding notebook of his… Ace, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, Jack, Queen, King. Ace, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, Jack, Queen, King.<B
And that's the shit on all the shit that is fit to print. It is just as easy to keep on truckin' and deal with each worry as it comes to you. ...and worry about something you can actually maybe do something about. Thanks Maso!
16 hours even for just one day is somethin'... Yes it is! Every once in a while I still have to pull a double shift (which is 16 hours) but at least I'm paid a whole helluva lot more for it now than back then! And in a waaay cleaner enviroment too! But...16 hour days still sucks no matter how ya slice it. But I'm glad you did it so you could write about it so I could read it and enjoy it as much as I did. <b
But seriously folks... I blog for "therapeutic" reasons more than anything else. And yes, getting a few comments is really nice and super appreciated. But, I dunno. They ain't everything you know? And plus I'm not into politics/current events or computer blah-blah and for damn sure I'm not into debating at all so I'm kinda screwed there too...
I've always encouraged my wife to develop and persue her own interest! If she wants to go off out of town and go shopping or something than more power to her -and that cuts both ways. Heh, I've always thought that we stuff all the time was bullshit and just led to resentment and all the problems that causes. You gotta be your own person and maintain your own identity, you know. Anyway, it's always worked for us!
always a great place to go if you want the smell of shit to coat you and listen to animals yappin' all day. Hmmm...since you put it that way and now that I think about it...it sounds exactly like where I work now!
Wow, sorry I missed this when first posted. Profound stuff, Nicky. And a bad thing this co-dependency -like the wife who can tell how many drinks her husbands had just by the sound of the crunch of the gravel as he turns into the driveway. Keep writing, Nick. Always keep writing.
Haha, I LOVE the stinky face!
Let's see. 1. knitting 2. beer 3. cute young female bartenders Other than the knitting I could handle it (and I'm certainly not above learning to knit either!)
He looked at the intimidating blank page of his notebook and considered sayin’ the hell with it all. Page fifty-one. What kind of bullshit does one smear on page fifty-one that one hasn’t already smeared on the previous fifty? Yeah. What? Heh, seems he was in this never-ending circle jerk of plowing the same old ground over and over and over
I always enjoy and look forward to reading your meditations.
Brilliant. Thanx Kelly! Good Shit doesn't come easy, but that's why it's Good Shit. If it came easy, it'd just be Okay Shit. egg-zack-uh-lee. Nobody likes mediocre, humdrum shit. I rate this article as * GOOD SHIT!!" Thanks Elie! I appreciate your reading it. It comes easy once in a great while and when it does it fe
Why is it, he wondered, that the Good Shit never came easy? Heh, seemed he was forever-and-a-day bustin’ his ass to wring ‘n wrestle and take something worth half a damn out of that dull noggin of his to log down in his notebook. And it was ALWAYS one helluva battle royal fight to git ‘er did. Hmmm…maybe some of the problem was that the Good Shit di
