That'll always get the job done. ...but then you'll spend the next thirty years or so spelling the word run in the shower all the time.

My point exactly... If you let the bastards get away with it once, they'll want to take you every chance they get. Yes and my point is that cuts both ways. And me being the customer, it oughta fall to me shouldn't it? I've always heard that the customer is always right...

One time I got into a dispute with the electric company (or was it the gas company? heh, same difference) over a five dollar mistake on my bill. Exasperated, the lady on the phone finally said "after all, sir, we're only talking about five dollars." To which I replied "THAT'S RIGHT! THEN YOU WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM GIVING IT UP." I got my five dollars.

While sitting on a bench thoughtfully provided for the public’s use by MOE’S BAIL BONDS he looked at the old courthouse across the street. Wow, it was big! And all that ornate Victorian era stone work! He couldn’t even begin to imagine what it was like to build it waaaaay back there in 1881 when every board was sawn by hand and every nail was pound

While sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come* he opened his backpack and dug around for his notebook. He was in the mood , you know. But…not really in the mood –if that makes any sense. It was just that it was time for number thirty-nine. *from I Am the Walrus by the Bea

This song: Link didn't (unlike that brick) exist in the summer of 1978. And this song has no relevance to the above story. But I like it and tonight I'm in the mood for it and some how it just fits . So there it is.

Tortilla chips, cheese, refried beans, hamburger meat… He looked at the brick. He was guessing it measured three inches by twelve inches by, hmmm, maybe six inches. It was one of many bricks in the wall. …diced tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeño peppers, oh my! He was starvin’ frickin’ Marvin and he just couldn’t WAIT to dig in! Hey-so

Keep on keepin' on - Moskowitz Thanks Buddah, I appreciate that. It's times like these that require serious self contemplation, concentration, and a handy dandy quarter. I wished I'd a thought of that!

He came to a fork in the road. Now, what was it Yogi Berra said about forks in the road? When you come to a fork in the road, take it. Uh, yeah. He wished it was only that easy. Decisions, decisions, decisions. What to do? What is best? What will he regret the least? What will he rejoice the most
