Aside from making the dock wider, as Jafo suggests, you can also decrease the icon size, and make another tab. I have 10 tabs, for instance. There is also the possibility of creating another dock, tabbed or not.

I'm nearly certain that you can't download old versions, and that there isn't much hope at all that new themes would work on a version that old. It's definitely not upgradable for free. I'd suggest that you look at a subscription for ObjectDesktop instead of just WindowBlinds. You get a lot of other programs like IconPackager, Fences (for arranging desktop shortcuts), DesktopX (for using gadgets like clocks, weather widgets and so on), DeskScapes (for animated wallpapers), WindowsFX, etc., as well as WindowBlinds.
