Thanks a lot for all the great articles, interviews, and the advancement of DesktopX. I hope this isn't a farewell.

Have a good birthday, Travis.
This is just a guess--did you try registering your software using Impulse?
ObjectDesktop is almost priceless. If you take a journey through the different galleries, you'll find that the various programs in ObjectDesktop can change nearly every aspect of your computers appearance. There are thousands of possiblities. Some of the skinners are excellent artists, as well. Sometimes it's amazing how good a matched set of skins can look. Almost all of them are free; well over 99%.
I'd like to get everything for nothing and see skinners profit from their labour and talent. Fortunately, this is one of the few areas in life where I can get a lot for nothing; in the rest, I have to pay. I'm pleased some times to pay for a skin in order to reward the artist. Most of the Masters probably don't make enough money to justify the amount of time spent on their work, so we're a bit lucky to get a v
Thank you very much. They're very attractive and well-done.
Philly-here's a link to Frogboy's "WindowBlinds 7- A Guided Tour", where one of the features listed is, "Auto-conversion of Windows XP era skins to Windows Vista or Windows 7". http://frogboy.impulsedriven.net/article/369294/WindowBlinds_7_A_guided_Tour

Philly--this is one of those threads that is "invisible". If you click on OS Customization (in the upper right), you won't see this thread in the list. The only way to access it is to click on the OS Customization arrow (upper left), and then click on suites. Most people don't do that, I guess. I think it's a bit early to restrict yourself to Win 7 ready only. It looks like skins work pretty well with Win 7 anyway, and isn't there something in WindowBlinds 7
Do you have the original files (skins) that you downloaded? If so, put them on your new installation, and use WindowBlinds to load them into the program.
Skinhit reply 118 Little teaser... You're always doing that.
Happy Birthday, and thanks for all the great DX stuff.
Thanks for making Wincustomize better.
It would be a shame if you didn't see this one through. Listen to Uncle Skinhit.
Last year's report was a very enjoyable read, and I bet that this year's will be too.
Hurry up, Monday.
That's sad news. It's hard to lose a mother like that.
I enjoyed this, too. I'm looking forward to lots more.
Congratulations from me too.
I'm not worried that you'll get spoiled. Keep up the good work.
Have one on me.
Let's hope that this doesn't spoil you, Jim. Congratulations.

I am so disappointed... between this thread and the Softpedia crap you all have made Po turn serious in to many posts... [/quote] I like it when he's serious--the Softpedia article was very well written and the situation was explained with great clarity. Look at it
