From the thread he posted:BoogieBac We were going to try and do it across the board, but even backporting the Espionage change into DA is going to be a HUGE pain...after much discussion, we decided that porting back to DL is more trouble than what it's worth Sorry P.P.That is what he was meaning to point to I believe. So, yes, they did at one point mean to port back to DL, but have now looked at the overhaul it would be and decided against it.
Ah. Probably should of f
Or...you can max out your planet's population, and use transports to siphon off the extra. This will give you the 'best of both worlds', as it were.As in, fill the transports, have a couple dozen of them sitting at a way point AND still have your planets full of people. You often build up a navy of fighting ships prior to a war you start, why now a couple fleets of troops transports? Zero-downtime war!We have solved the problem of overcrowding.
...There will be some updates for Dread Lords users as well...
That's from the link to the thread you posted. Maybe not a lot, but there will be updates to Dreadlords as well.
Of my 5 ups's, 2 are connectioned to tvs, 2 to pcs, and 1 to a htpc. They aren't to use and play during a storm. Their to watch in case tornados come, or anythign really bad.
Ah, now that makes more sense
Why would the storm affect the cable? The only way it would be affected is if it was struck by something, or disrupted/fried by lighting. Personally I don't care if things go out during a storm, technically your supposed to not be using that stuff when a storm is occuring anyway.
ok i have hered some romes...
Never heard that before. Learn something new everyday ;) The 2.0 update will address a lot of the issues and bugs in Dread Lords, and Dark Avatar, likely to the extent of what they did for Twilight of Arnor. They also said they would look at the Espisonage and Economic aspects of the game. The latter I'm curious to see what'll they do, if they can get to it.
If there were no jerks, how could you tell if someone was nice? The world needs contrasts.
Norton was pretty good in the early days...than after its years of goodness it got bored, and decided to go through your computer like an auto-immune diesase on the body. Been Norton clean for over 4 months, and have no intention of going back. Been using Avast and loved it, didn't interfere in anything I did, I could easily set everything with a few clicks, didn't crash my game after it shows up "Do you want to allow" message, continously updated, free, and it has the clicky sound from
Umm...How much population do you have on your planets? If they're so low that's it causing the transports and colony ships to not be fully loaded, I would let them repopulate. You can go to your main options and toggle to automatically launch the transport/colony ships but that's it as far as I know. I don't think you can tell it to launch with a full load.
1. Range is how far your ships can go from a starbase or planet you own. Your influence doesn't affect Range for its a seperate ability. You can increase this through reasearch or adding more range modules in the ship-editor. 2. Common problem is overpopulation. Its generally recommended to not go higher than 18 billion people per planet, with 21 being the absolute cap. No matter how many entertaining things you have, eventually you'll think it sucks living in an overcrowded apartment.
*Sigh* [Comment removed after thinking to not waste my time.]
Sit back and enjoy the Fireworks.
I guess I just figured a game where you can have sex with hookers then kill them to get your money back would be a turn off for females. But hey, I'm male, I know I sure as hell don't understand women, and probably never will.
but if it had male hookers, than it would make it more appealing to females. Those particular games have a specific audience. Even so,again, people play games regardless of sex. Its our not fault that some people still view video games as t
This would be for people with a "modeling" mindset, where you get the pieces and you make it. Don't think it will be useful now( which I see I left out in my original post), but in the future this might be a possiblity. Looking on how more and more people are becoming accostumed to computers in the past few decades, people who did their own software and the like back than was very rare. Now, that number is climbing, it would be interesting to see if someone would do this.
That exit message: "A few more turns wouldn't hurt." usually gets you. Only wanted to do a half-hour, ended up well over 2. Though to be fair I spend most of my time in the Ship-editor.
I haven't played video games since they quit costing $0.25 a shot. Do things like pacman and asteroids and space invaders count?
Of course. ;) I remember playing those, and Tetris was a blast (never could get by level 10 though). 1. Descent series 2. Freespace series 3. Starcraft 4. Rise of Nations 5. Galactic Civlizations II series 6. X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter 7. Mechwarrior 4 series 8. Sim City 2000 9. Rome: Total War<b
As people have gotten more savy with computers, and developers are starting to make it more and more possible to mod their games, it ponders the question: Will developers give you the basics of the game, but provide you the tools to finish it to your liking? Say we have a new RTS game. Its base is a Space Conquest game where you build structures, build units and conquer planets. You buy it. Now they provide you with the AI and programming, a couple of designs, effects etc.,
People play games they like regardless of their sex. You'll find girls playing Total-War games and you'll find guys playing Hello Kitty adventures*. * I don't mean that to be sterotypical, just for an example...and to poke some fun. ;)
For some reason I thought I be surprised who be would the first for the men and women... How silly of me :d Surprised you didn't have Michael Caine though. Or Sean Connery, or Pierce Brasden. Nice to see Monica Bellucci in the top 10. Note: You have Kate Beckinsale for Penelope Cruz.
The placement of the Galaxy Map button doesn't matter to me; what I'd much rather see than adding it to the crowded area on the right is to make it a toggle that applies your mini-map settings to the main window and switches back to normal. This would be really, really handy for larger maps.
Even better. That would be nice and plus you wouldn't have people complaining about seeing the tiny dots for rally-points, planets, ships etc.
I have 1 minor thing: Would it be too difficult to put the Galaxy Map button along with the other buttons for showing info on the mini-map that show planets, anamolies, rally-points, race borders, etc? Here's what I'm talking about with the red marking where the button is currently, and where it should go.
You cannot colonize with a transport, but you CAN cpmquer a planet with zero troops. It's called a spore ship.
True, but I meant that if you loaded up a transport with no troops, you couldn't conquer the planet with it unless you upgraded it to a Spore Ship.
Can I get a source for that "claim" other than twisted opinion? Blizzard does new things with all of their games, and what is implemented is what has proven to be successful.No.
Incorrect. Watch the Terran Gameplay Example from Starcraft 2 website below: [link="http://www.starcraft2.com/movies.xml"]WWW Link[/link] In the video you'll see they've added a range circle for the Siege Tank in Siege Mode. Did away with 12 unit max selection. Added a rally-poin
Or to go to a planet with extra population to get more settlers after dropping off settlers on a new planet.
Oh yeah forgot about that. In that sense it would be useful. But like its stated above it could be used to colonize planets with zero population. What you could do, to prevent people colonizing planets with zero population, is allow the players to set the bar for population to zero on Transports ONLY. You can't colonize with a transport I think
Great. I've enjoyed your mod for the previous games and will likely enjoy this one as well.
