Death Notices When you are slain, you should get a headshot of the Demigod responsible for your death, followed by his player name, followed by the name of the final method of your death. For example: (Rook head pic) - Dr. Awesome - Hammer Slam This would be a clearer indication of the method of your demise, and a helpful logical guide as to why it came about. Sometimes otherwise you can be left scratching y

Being able to build a substantial base/colony/settlement, essentially terraforming and augmenting say a Dead Asteroid body, would be a very cool capability. Most definitely dependent upon vast amounts of research, resources, and time though. Sounds like a Vasari development to me.
No, I think that would stink. I like them behaving as grenades. I think what might be better is if the mines disappeared after say 120 seconds.
Well, you could also give Regulus a pulse rifle and some flashbangs. Heh. As is his Tactical Bombs seem more apt for an out-and-out alchemist character. Strategic Mines were the original concept and I think this cu

Regulus` Mines Regulus Mines are good as they currently are (Beta 2) but I`d like to see a delay in their activation, maybe 3 full seconds before they go live. Only then could they explode. I`m sure I`ve seen others accurately refer to these now as "grenades", which they ought not be.
The Elemental beta begins this June and the game won't be released until the following February. And you can be assured, the beta for Elemental will be a LOOTTT rougher than Beta 1 of Demigod.
Looking forward to it. Ditto for the other Sins betas in the pipe.

I`d keep it full effect, although I would by no means feature such a thing on many maps. Other control points *like it* though would be cool. No further ideas on what those could be, but maybe more will strike me in time. Something like this is supposed to be big, yet indirect.

Major Flag - EarthStone I was thinking about what abilities players would definitely scrap over - what kind of effect players would be compelled to try to gain & maintain control of. It has to be something with considerable potential to alter the course of combat events regardless of Demigod level. EarthStone An alchemical treasure point that, when captured, causes all enemy potions to deliver the op

A number of people have posted on these forums regarding their disappointment in either the stability or the raw state of Demigod Beta 1 and then Beta 2 (as well as the Entrenchment expansion for Sins Of A Solar Empire ). For those who were unaware that the pre-order allowed access to a Beta rather than a full & complete game - due to exposure only to the product listing in the Impulse store for example - I have both sympathy and unde

Each character may have a field in which they excel. If Regulus can snipe at defenses without taking hits in return, thats his forte. I don`t mind according a character I usually play against rather than as this advantage. By late game he may have the capacity to take down such very quickly thanks to levels and items, but then again its late game. This really is nothing beyond a General Demigod instructing his Level IV fireballer Minions to attack a defense, right?

Good post. My suggestion is to tag certain flag points as unteleportable. That is, certain flags or flag types (arbitrarily determined by the map designer?) *CANNOT* be teleported to. This way we still preserve the usefulness of the Teleport scroll while striving to force actual time-to-target considerations: you can respond instantly to certain threats, but others - and potentially to some of the most critical ones - you are going to have to perambulate to. You`ll have to coordi

That might be just a reality to be lived with - I think any type of remedy would wind up being arbitrary and ultimately unfair. The best solution is to control the number of duplicate Demigods allowable in a game. As the number of selectable Demigods increases a default setting of "Unique" for Demigod types would be more and more feasable. Ten to twelve Demigod choices would be ideal; let the fighting over The Rook, Torch-Bearer, and Lord Erebus commence... (grin) Keep

About Those Flags... I would like to see various types of flags receive custom graphics. I`m not speaking so much of colour changes as something more substantial. If a control point lends bonuses to experience, I would like to see a scholarly book upon a pedestal instead of a rotary flag. If a control point boosts the numbers of Archers coming through my faction`s Gates I would like to see a warhorn instead of a rotary flag. Etc

New Flag Types 1. Destination Flag When controlled, any friendly Demigod may teleport to it 'free of charge'. Would require an onscreen button that displays a countdown timer before the ability may be utilized again. Initial capture of a Destination flag would require that countdown to complete before teleporting may commence. Resets each time flag is captured. Kind of a beachhead spawn poin

Ability Damage Items In Beta 1 there were times when, if you had acquired certain combat items, you delivered more damage with regular attacks than you did utilizing special abilities. Now in Beta 2 with such items more reserved in their raw damage bonuses I find myself thinking that it would be very nice to encounter items that do nothing for your regular attacks but that enhance your special abilities. My inclination is a percent
The biggest problem with Spore was not just the limited activations. Spore has Invasive DRM. The kind that messes up your entire computer. It will kill I-Tunes, and Nero (any burning software). After you've discovered what is killing your computer you try to uninstall the game - hoping to remove the DRM from your system. Guess what - it stays in your system. My sister had to wipe her hard drive to finally eliminate all the DRM

At least answer the first few. 1. All races star bases move 2. Phase jump inhibitor built into star base. What percent should it be? Keep in mind phase jump inhibitors for planets are usually 700% 3.
