A bug I reported some time ago still persists, much to my dismay. There is a set of armour that reflects 35 pts of damage back upon an attacker per hit. Unfortunately this is drastically accelerated (and woefully unfair) death for The Rook, because of his Archer Tower shoulder: each individual arrow provides a backlash of 35 pts. . This MUST be fixed.

Is it possible we might see such in an expansion, perhaps developed by a different development house since GPG is knee-deep in Supreme Commander 2 and that Knights & Castles (??) game? Maybe contract a European developer to tackle that. And more maps. Items. Demigods. We don't really have any say on that. Demigod is GPG's game. Stardock just publishes it and onl
Greetings Krang, I have had your opinion for some time as well. Art. Brothers is the most striking for me. More Demigods and more maps are the most reasonable avenues of expansion at the moment. The difficulty of crafting such is moot - we agree such would be splendid. Perhaps Stardock could hold a money contest as they did (Tripwire Interactive did) for Killing Floor, offering cash to a community mapper who could create the best new field in which to battle? That`d be ve
BTW, my biggest objection to Demigod has nothing to do with MP. It is that the single player game design we submitted wasn't implemented. I honestly did not expect to behold "Demigod" and "limerick" in the same sentence together. Had to click this thread.
Thanks guys. I agree too that there are a few things about Demigod I could have discussed, but then there are always aspects of a subject one neglects to mention. Always (!)...
That is truly an Amazing review of Demigod. Maybe the most accurate and analytic I have ever seen so far. Great work mate The only point I disagree on is the rating, not the overall, but the "Stability – 8 and Post-Release Support/Expansion – 7.5". I wouldnt give it such high scores in these 2 categories. Other than that GJ! Here is
Thank you! I hope you might fin
Greetings, I thought it might be of interest to folks in these posting parts that a new gaming site is online, and that in particular a review is up of our commonly regarded pursuit (being of course Demigod). Even if there is disagreement I hope I am fair, and to those without Demigod knowledge informative. Thanks for your time. [this has just been a blurb...]

Hi, I just purchased (in the last 24 hours) The Stalin Subway . I received my receipt for the purchase in e-mail, with an order # and *supposedly* a serial #. There is no serial number, and The Stalin Subway isn`t listed in the Games tab of the manual registration section of Impulse. A link was provided in the receipt e-mail, but it simply points to the Impulse installer, which I of course already have. Where can I find my game? Is there another e-mail
It's alright, but at least we all now know we can take this feedback with a grain of salt... those are definitely random slots and have been there for quite some time now
Huh? There are two slots in each column. Why, if you have random light and random dark? 2 extra by my math. And why discount my opinion? I`ve been playing Demigod for some time; endeavour to make more sense please.
Random slots? 2 each in the General and Assassin columns - I had assumed these were available slots for additional Demigods. (?)
I love this new Demigod. He seems to be in the same vein as Erebus: a character for an aggressive play style. I agree with Frogboy - a very lethal monster, and/or a great experience/cash resource for the opposing team. He has good Health, but his armour is feeble, which is entirely apt and seems to balance him. I was expecting him to be faster - characters like this typically are - and I`m glad to see he is not. Gets away from the cliche. Again, he seems very well balanced. Some hilar
WarlokLord: Would you like to play chess with me sometime? I play a lot, so I'll get to use two queens where my bishops would usually be. Would you enjoy playing chess under these conditions? I personally don't feel it would be much fun for either of us. This is my argument against "long term favour" items... they are not fun, and they are not fair, and would destroy the custom game community.
Allow me to be a lone dissenter re.: new favour items. I was and have always been a proponent of both long-term item aspirations and greater variety in item arrays. The news that long-term favour items have been removed is bad news to me. I would argue that any drawback to such items is inherently due to the lack of favour point resets in Pantheon and 'campaign' play: right now, once you achieve 'X' points (and therefore items), you`ve got them until the end of time. All the c
Sounds good. I regret I do not see a control to eliminate A.I. cheating, however. I too have Dragon Age Origins. Barely cracked it open (I believe I did the introductory scenario for my sorceror guy). Many many games, but work is fairly thick and time is short. Frown. Re.: Items, new favour Items that give a point to long-term Campaign play make sense to me and I welcome their introduction. Player character progress should be by the campaign (reset in new campaigns, for those
I missed Occulus. Frown. Anyhoo, cool video. Have to take time out from Frying-Panning zombies to play him/them (!).
Erebus is my main man. I`m alright with Rook, but I wouldn`t want to fight against adept players with him. Can`t help playing him though - he`s fun. I used to be good with the TorchBearer, but my skills have severely declined. I`m no good with the Queen, Sedna, or Regulus. I can be a passable Oak, but nothing special. Unclean Beast I *think* I`m okay with.
Well, at first the only people who will have them will be people from Stardock and GPG. From there, it'll be largely people who volunteer and have Ready to Play set up so that we can get ahold of them to try them out. If you don't already have Ready to Play, sign up on that page with the email your Impulse account is set up on and we'll add you prior to the Demigods being ready for handing out to people. Signed up to Ready To Play, ready to get my butt kicked online. Btw, I`ve played Heroes Of Newerth in beta. I like it, but honestly, that game would be far easier to design & develop for than something like Demigod, where imbalances are more apparent and more critical; a finer eye is required for this. I enjoy the 'adventure' A.I. aspects of HoN, but I wish for more gameplay experiences in a coooperative vein versus that A.I., ala Left4Dead or Killing Floor. That makes for a doubl
An item that does extra damage based on the enemies max hp (or even current!). E.G GlovesX - +200 mana, +1% Damage (of opponents Max HP). So this would give +70 damage to a UB with 7k hp and would do only +20 damage vs a 2khp Reg. Of course figures can be changed (0.8%, 0.2% - whatever).
