Thanks Philly. It apeared that I upset some nice people by posting it in the first place. My intentions were good however. I never saw the logo on the bottom till around 2 reboots or I wouldn't have ever posted it.
I sure most of you know how to uninstall vista RC2 if you tried it and wanted to. In case anyone tried it and doesn't want to keep it this works just fine. Go to control Panel - add remove programs, On the top left there is the option to view installed updates look for Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB948465) and uninstall. Reboot machine and you are done. It may take two reboots to get rid of the logo on the bottom right corner .
Just thought I would put it out there in case anyone was interested. Guess all the tech forums I tried to check out before I put this up were not correct. Don't blame any of you. If I have or hear of any problems I will be back. Not something I have done before just had a good feeling about this that it may really be as close to a final realeas as you can get. Had a chance to get actual beta but didn't go for that.
I understand but this isn't a beta and I agree with you 100%. I did it after a friend told me it made his vista faster. So thought I would try it and pass the information on to those who may want it.
Microsoft just released vista SP2 RC. I have installed it on my computer and have had no problems. The tech forums have all reported good things about it and say that little if anything will be added to the final release.
I understand that and have no problem with it. It's not about what is accepted or rejected. There is one situation I think was not fair at all and nothing to do with acceptance. Don't wish to discuss it here as like I said I like all you people and I just think a situation that took place a month ago wasn't right.
Let me leave it like this. I'm not talking about what is accepted and what isn't. Really all I have to say on the forumn.
OK....then "everyone who fails to abide by the conditions of submission is treated the same Now I didn't say that. I enjoy reading everything you people say when time allows me. Not looking to make any enemies. Not going to debate it here and get in trouble. Still don't totally agree with the statement that's all.
No-one is treated differently Could definitely be debated
Very nice. Thank you for adding this to the collection.
Wonderful people in this community. Glad you are aboard with all of us.

Great work everyone. Wonderful picks as always. :CONGRAT:
Very nice John. Thanks for your time to produce it.
Excellent work by all. Congratulations Everyone.
Congratulations. Grandchildren are a great thing. I have 7 and the best part is spoiling them and when you get tired all you have to do is send them home. Wishing everyone is well.
Man I didn't even type the shortcut correctly in my last post. Should be iexplore.exe
Actually instead of putting in the link I had above just add "iexplore" (without the quotes) in stead of the full link C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Zu, I'm assuming that he already has a link to firefox in OD. When another Internet shortcut is made it will also be a Firefox link. If he puts in what the shortcut I said it will change to Internet Explorer. He he just adds the www.google.com link it will open in the firefox browser and he wants to have a link to 2 different browsers. What I wrote will work fine.
Open OD. Click on Dockets and go down to Internet Shortcut and highlight it. Now click to add this Docket. Close the OD box properties box. On the Dock go to the shortcut you just made and right click on it, look for dock Entry Properties and click on it to open a box. Where it says Link it should say Internet. Hightlight it and than hit your backspace tab on the keyboard. Now add this C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe and than click the OK button to close. Now you can open IE w
