Reply to Connecting Laptop to TV in Personal Computing WinCustomize Forums

Just a regular 2 way coaz splitter form Readio Shack or any electronics store. Also you will need 2 additional coax cables to the length you need. They come in many lengths. Yuo hook the coax cable coming in to your TV to the in connection on the splitter. Than you have two out connections. hook one into your Tv than the other into your Computer tuner card. It should have a coax connection on the back of your computer.

The hDMI won't work as others have said. You need to get a 2 way splitter. Hook up the incoming cable to the single connector on the splitter, than hook one cable form one connection into your cable boc than the other splitter into your computer tv tunner card cable end. I have tried many things and this is the only thing that works.

Words alone are not enough and your sorrow is in my heart along with mine. I lost my wife of 44 years 4 weeks ago. She was my everything and I still don’t know if I can get through this. I’m no better now than on May 29 when she passed. I am trying but all I do is cry and the pain is something I wish no one ever had to go through. We will try and get better together.

Been waiting a long time to see baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. Would purchase it in a minute. I haven't seen anything new in the way of sports for a long time. I do understand that if you feel the people aren't really buying the sports themes than why make them. If you do ever decide to make what I would like to have I would get the Phillies and Flyers at the same time. I also know it takes a lot of time to make just one theme and if they just sit on your server than why bother.

I dual boot in vista and win7. No problem with OD using either OS. You could actually save your setup in on your first OS and after you install OD on your other OS just import your setup and you won't have to do it over.

Back on the topic. I have been married for 44 years and without going into all the details, I would do it again with this wonderful woman. My wife is totally disabled for the last year and a half. She took care of me for all the other years and now it's my turn to take care of her. She is a person that would do anything for anyone and actually cared about them. What more can I say except I will take care of her as long as I can till one of us says good night for good.

Thanks Peter. I have a Dell and it came with a complete vista install disk I think dell burns in the product key. Will I need additional software or when I boot the computer will it ask me which OS to load? What I would really like to do is ust my new drive and partition it and do a clean install of vista and 7 on it. Than take my first drive and clean it. Guess I would have to clean (delete ity first. If you say the first way I asked about will work I can always do the other part later.

Windows7 rc in Personal Computing WinCustomize Forums

I'm ready to mess around with windows7. I have a new second hard drive installed on my computer and it's clean. Can I install 7 on it and leave my orginal hard drive without losing the OS (Vista) or anything from it? If yes, can I dual boot with the install of windows7 on the other drive? Any other information would be appreciated.
