And yet we can't get my pictures up on the forums...it's a conspiracy...
Cedarbird
You dork. Who writes like that? Oh wait, you do. Hope you're having fun!
Now that's just...really clever. Funny. And mean...
So everybody's wrong all thru the centuries but the Mormons? Did you know the JW's have their own special translation as well? How do you know they're not right and we're both wrong?
You tell us we're wrong all the time. Why can't we think that we're right; do you have more right to your opinion than we do?
Just call me late to the party.
Okay. Hey! You are TARDY!!!!! There you go! :D :D :D
You should see my version...it's awesome.
Translate it all by your own self, Zoo? Yeah, I would actually like to see that. ;)
But that's only a problem with your translation...
King James version, anyone?
Yes, the problem Cedarbird, as I see it, being involved in many religions with differing interpretations is that they don't let the scripture interpret scripture. Yes they differ but what I saw and continue to see for the most part is that the "whole" of scripture is not used to define the contraversial scripture. Does that make sense....lol?
But the problem with letting scripture interpret scripture is that the Bible contradicts itself. A lot. So then you get into
Yes, I can post as many times as I want. It's MY blog. :D nataliedee.com Story of my life...
I know what you're speaking of and it WAS wrong theology. I'm talking quoting the scriptures....maybe it wouldn't be wrong theology concerning Mormon scriptures...I don't know but this person quote bible scripture and it was wrong.
See, now I remember it being an interpretation of scriptures...maybe I'm remembering wrong. I just thought someone interpreted something differently and they were "wrong." So here I was, thinking, "well, if we all interpreted sc
Hey, spill it. I'll at least consider it even if I don't believe it.
Mmm...okay. This is what the JST says: "And Pharoah will harden his heart, as I said unto thee; and thou shalt multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt." Ex. 7:3 Ex. 7:13 "And Pharoah hardened his heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said." There you go. Don't bash it, you asked for it...;)
But that doesn't mean others feel the same way. Some may be searching and thus like to talk about these things. Some may just like to learn more for learning's sake. Some may like to enter these discussions to strengthen their own faith while others may be testing the waters with another who makes sense to them.
My only problem is when you tell others that they are WRONG. They're only wrong to you. Not to them. I have nothing against discussion, it's the judgment peop
If I was a Mormon, would I think that I (not a Mormon me) would not be going to heaven?
I don't think you're not going to heaven. The nice thing about my belief is that we believe that after we die, the soul, or spirit, survives. You go to the afterlife with all of the knowledge and personality you have in this life. The reason we baptize for the dead is to give those who didn't have a chance to accept the Gospel in this life will have the choice to accept it in the ne
But how do you believe in these things to begin with if you don't discuss them? Somewhere along the line you have to discuss, study and meditate on these things and make up your own mind. If you grew up in a specific religion you have the choice to just believe to keep the peace with family members or come to your own conclusions whether you choose to stay in said faith or not. . In all reality somewhere along the line, you have to make your faith your faith and not a faith that was passe
Ok, I am missing something. "I will harden Pharoah's heart" is pretty clear. And if it isn't clear what it is, it's clear what it isn't. It isn't "And Pharoah will harden his own heart." Explanation how you got from God doing it to Pharoah doing it, please.
Heheh, I have the answer. Oh, wait...you won't believe me if I told you, because it's from the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible. Never mind. :D
Ah, that's the difficulty. How do you respect the beliefs of those you know are wrong? So difficult! If logic was able to explain life it would have been explained already, and everyone would have come to the same conclusion.
I believe what I believe, you believe what you believe, I know I'm right, you think you're right, but because humans have free will, it's your prerogative to think what you will. See? It's easy, not difficult at all.
Yes, God did create Satan. He was created as a beautiful head cherub. He rebelled against God and is in no way considered a son of God. He was one of God's most beautiful creations.
According to you. I, however, believe that every single person, every angel, every spirit, is a spirit child of Heavenly Father. I know that to be true because I have had spiritual confirmation. At the same time, the truth of the matter is, discussing religion here is completely pointless.
Arrgh, it worked earlier!!! Now I'm upset. Okay, they are on their way. Thanks, brother-man.
The part that sold me was that she remembers being "told to go into the bedroom to sleep." Though she was not very smart for drinking while on medication, to me, that line tells me that she did fall asleep there. Maybe she was lying, maybe she doesn't remember saying anything before she fell asleep, but that's what it sounds like to me. She fell asleep, and woke up being raped.
These two are from the night it happened... Yeah, I did everything the way SanCho told me to and it didn't work. I'll try again. Nope, didn't work. This is really frustrating...
I can't load pictures, it won't show them on the forums. I even wrote a new article to see if I could put them up there...it's just not working. A little help, folks?
Yeah, you need to invest in a helmet or something if you're going to be playing with this guy..
Would you believe that's exactly what my friends told me today? Get a helmet? Hahaha. Ow...laughing hurts...
Um, so, remember my concussion friend? Yep, so, we were rough housing last night, and he threw me over his shoulder and ran me down the hall. Naturally, I'm fighting him because I don't want to be up on his shoulder, I'm...afraid of...heights. Anyway, I didn't want to get picked up. So I was fighting him, "Put me down, please!" The whole nine yards.<br /
Hey, now, let's be nice.
