Borack H. Obama has a half brother,Malik Abongo, a father, a causin by name of Raila Odinga who Obama supported in Kenya SE Africa, plus other relatives. Where is the story of Obama having duel double citizenship, sniffing coke in college, friends with William Aires, Tony Rezko, or Rev. Wright ,and Ft. Pflager, etc.?Obama has never done anything for the middle class voter before, he's only helped himself. How did he rose to power so quickly? And why are many Islamofascists who are swo
Daiwa I was thinking that very thought.
As was I. This is off-topic, I know, but if you look at it, Hitler was a great leader too. He was also an evil, evil man. But the guy had charisma out the ying-yang, and could bring "his people" (the nazi) together like nobody's business. I think Obama has a lot of good characteristics, but just because he can get people to follow him around chanting doesn't make him a leader; just as McCain's history as

Though I was intrigued by your article, I think we're all kind of missing the point. And I'm not talking about just the bloggers here that are all about hating on the Democrats. I think everyone in America is too busy with the political side of things to find the best representative. That's waht is broken in our country. So instead of saying, "Republicans=good, Democrats=bad" or vice versa, why don't we look at the individuals running, and not the party they're running

1. The Chevy Impala on Supernatural. I know it's not a house, but so very, very pretty... 2. Belle. She's smart, unlike so many others. 3. Travelled home for Labor Day. 4. Nope, never have. 5. Watching a movie cuddled up in the arms of a boy. Just like last night.... 6. Go to Disneyland, are you crazy? I love Disneyland!

SanCho speaks truth. I've been ignored for days at a time after sending him stuff. Though I usually do it for laughs, he doesn't appreciate it. ;) But yeah, everything I get I check out on Snopes. Usually it's all made up. So I then send back a message correcting the person who sent it to me and tell them to do their homework before passing stuff on. Not a good way to make friends, I might add. ;)
no "strange" teachings coming from them.
Hey, nothing wrong with strange teachings! My friend and I just made up a religion about this baled up newspaper we were playing with all afternoon. But we can't think of a name for it. But if you drop the ball, we've decided you're on altar boy duty for a month. Why? I don't know. It's a work in progress. But it's about as strange as you can get.... &
I don't think I've ever met a more divisive, vitriolic group of people in my life.
I wouldn't know. They seemed nice enough at the barbeque, and hey, the pastor does a radio hour each Sunday on our station. It could have just been the group you knew. I'm withholding judgement until I see for myself.

Marcie: Actually, I do know a fantastic lady in her thirties. ;) We should set them up. :D You should go to church this Sunday, I don't know if it's the same for other churches, but no matter where I go to church, I seem to find people that are like auto-friends. I think churches, no mat

Today there was a "Meet your religious leaders" barbeque on campus. There was free food, so of course I'm there. I mean, I already know my bishop, but hey, free dinner. Anyway, so all of the wards here had their own tables set up, which of course took up more that half of the space because hello! Utah. Then there were the other religions. The episcopalians (sp) were giving out fruit and veggies. I should have taken some, but I didn't. Now I'
Actually I think it is Brave New World.
Good job. Aldous Huxley is the author. Written about a young man from a 'savage reservation' (similar to the indian reservations of today) who was raised on Shakespeare. He is invited to see this "Brave New World" where babies come from labs, their social class pre-designated, and in which sex is purely recreational. Like basketball. Co-ed, basketball. ;) It's a good read.

Someone killed this forum. It is broken and funky looking. KFC: In this case I agree wholeheartedly with you. I abhor abortion, but if a person gets one thinking it's an easy way out or something, then realizes it's a mistake, they have to pay for it the rest of their life. So yes, I pity them. Call me sentimental, but it's true. Okay, I'm done arguing this one, too.

Okay, I see your point, Duderino. If it ever comes to a vote again I will vote against it. I am vehemently opposed to abortion. But I can see both sides of the argument, at least. Now I'm all confused. I mean, I see why you tell me I'm pro-choice, but honestly, if I thought that outlawing all abortion would make it impossible to get one I would definitely vote against it and argue against it with every fighting breath. But people are going to do it whether or n
Guess what. You're socially pro-choice, personally pro-life as you would not get an abortion but you see that there are conditions where abortion should be allowed and therefore you are pro-choice.
Yikes. That's not what I meant, I don't think. The only time I believe a person should get an abortion is if the life of the mother is in severe jeopardy. That's it. But I know that people will do it whether or not it is legal, so might

Hmm. Interesting thoughts. Well, not really, it's all mostly saying the same thing. I'm not going to get into the comments because it's not worth fighting over in my opinion. In response to the article itself: 1. I don't like either candidate. Vote Nader in '08!!! 2. While I am vehemently anti-abortion, I know that there are some cases, such as saving the mother's life, where I believe it is, as was said, a necce

I liked Juno. I thought the rant about prom was probably as real as you can make it. Um, i actually was talking to my dad about it, hypothetically. I asked him if he'd hate me if I got pregnant. He said, "No, I'd just be disappointed. But I'd do what I could for you." I think that might be how Juno's parents were portrayed. I just vote to not have sex before I'm married and therefore avoid that situation altogether.

At least, I THINK that's how the song goes, I've never understood it completely. Okay. I'm ready. I think. There is a book. A magic book. It tells you all about how to love other people. And how they love you. And it's better than a horoscope, 'cause it's right. It tells you that you have a special way of showing your love for others. This magical book is called "The Five Love Languages." Or
