You're right, I could NOT care less. Though maybe you could. ;)
But you know what? ... I honestly believe that REAL Christians know that already and have no reason to "eat their hearts out" because the real ones never spread lies and rumors.
I know, I should have been more specific and said something like "All you intolerant jack@$$es that claim to be Christian but don't have a loving bone in your bodies eat your hearts out," but it was too long. And I get more views this way, and I'm kind of a comment whore. ;) Nitro Cruis
To me, the bottom line is, "so what if he's Muslim? Or Mormon, or Catholic, or any number of other religions?" the Constitution of the United States says that the president will not be required to take a test of religion to serve, so why is everyone judging him? Also, every religion has its...extremists. With the Catholics it was the Inquisition, the Baptists its the people with the guns that shoot at poor Mormon missionaries, with the Jews it was the people who murdered Jesu
I linked the site where I found this information at the top. People keep saying that they can't vote for Barack Obama because he, among other things, went to a Muslim school when he was a wee boy and that he *gasp* knew/knows muslims. Or even, that he IS one. Now I know this isn't the only protestation people have against the poor guy, but let's just examine it for a minute. What is Islam?: The name of the religion is
I'm voting for Ralph Nader. Also, I think I'm going to research Islam and we'll see exactly how evil a religion it is, because from what I remember of my ninth grade study of religions, there's nothing in the basic beliefs of Islam that says, "kill all Americans and anyone who doesn't believe in the Koran." That'll be a fun game. Maybe I'll write an article with my findings.
Wow. Gee, that's the way to win friends and influence others! Nice post, brother. I totally agree with you. There's the quiet Christians, that teach by example. You know, when you see someone that you respect and want to be like and THEN you find out they live that way because of their religion. Then there's the Jesus Fish carrying, Bible-bashing, gung-ho damn-you-all-to-Hell Christians like those haters. Makes me glad people don't consi
Karma whore. Here.
Cedarbird was here.
I'm sorry about that, but I can't really talk to you about it without getting harassed by others. But I'm sorry you missed her. But you were out helping servants of the Lord. For that you will be blessed.
And yes, I did try it. *gags*
Ew. But not really surprised. Have some karma, my good friend. :D
And yes, yes you do know me.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, welcome to JU, my friend! I had forgotten you'd told me your username. My bad. Thanks for the support, welcome to my awesome cult. Oops, I mean...Christ's awesome cult. ;)
Mormon Kool-Aid depends on where you live. If you live in Utah it is made into green Jell-O with Carrot shavings. ;~D
I think that's so funny, because I have never EVER had green Jell-o with carrots. I've lived in Utah for my whole life. We do the funeral potatoes, but NOOO lime green with carrots. Huh.
SanChonino was right, I should have probally made my previous questinon sound less offensive to you cedarbird, sorry.
Since I didn't recognize you, I figured it was an innocent question. SanCho just gets a little defensive because he's my big brother, don't worry about it. :D
Our favorite missionaries preferred rootbeer, so we always made sure we had a couple of bottles cold when they'd come visiting on Tuesday nights. (we had a standing date with 'em until they got sent home. their replacements seemed scared of us and only visited one time.)
HAHAHAHA, you had favorite missionaries?? That's awesome.
Do you have a reason for posting this? I dont see the reason.
It was just the comments on Ted's article about "Faith, it's part of Science, too." It got a little heated, and we were called cultists and Joseph Smith was called an idiot...blah blah...it wasn't pretty. And I thought it'd be kind of fun.
Have some more karma, my little cultist. Just watch out for that koolaid, I hear it delivers one hell of a kick.
haha, only when they spike it with Mountain Dew. ;)
This is not fair. Just not fair. It's been since OCTOBER for me, and you've gotten HOW much action since you've been in Spain??? I hate you.
I don't know why, but I've never been a big fan of saltwater. There's just something not right about salty water. Maybe it's corruption from Papa Jones snorting it for colds or gargling with it...but....ew. I don't know...you all make it sound very romantic thought. Hmm...gives me some thought.
I've been invited to quite a few services at these temples.
What you've been invited to was probably our Sunday service. All of our chapels are open to the public, anyone can come and sit in on our meetings. The temples, however, are different. You need a 'temple recommend' to go to one of these because there are some very sacred ceremonies that occur in them. Ted could probably give you a more...accurate explanation and answer questions. But he's right, we don't disc
Holy cow. That's truly frightening. Wow.
Hello? Nobody love me...or hates me...or cares...at all...about my cult. *sniff*
I just saw the title, so that's what I'm-a comment on. Nope. My little sister doesn't hate white people! She hates "mexicans." That means anyone with Latin blood. Like me. Ah, racism, without it we'd...all...get along. Can't have that.
Ach! The formatting is totally lame and NOT what it was supposed to be! Grr...
So the bold didn't work so well. I posted using the forums, it was an experiment and it failed. But I tried to separate my replies from the Wikipedia comments...hope it makes sense.
Recently I learned that I belonged to the Cult of Satan. Right on. Cool, I've never been in a cult before. I feel all special now. I mean, I never thought of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a cult. We don't do 'culty' things, I don't think. Let's Wikipedia it, shall we? My response in bold. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary lists five different definitio
