If there was no torrent for DG, I would not have tried it. If I had not tried it, 3 people would not have bought copies of DG. I have posted this a couple of times in threads, because I am tired of rabid moral police chanting on and on how piracy is evil and is destroying the gaming industry. It isnt. If DG could not be pirated, I truly believe the sales would be lower.

I quite like the system the way it is, although I can see a very clear benefit for giving gold for DG kills based on something other than level, to stop the DG farming being such a massive win. Players and AIs that die constantly would barely give any reward to the killer, but the hard-to-kill kind would net you a shiny new Godplate.

Depends really, I like to get the building regeneration early, and the first gold and XP upgrades are great. But if im not killing DG's, I clearly need items more than my team needs more gold.

All the multiplayer games I have played for the last 6 or 7 years, I have used voice chat in one form or another. It really hurts me not to have it in demigod. The difference it makes in team coordination is huge.

Thanks for pointing out the lightning bolt thing - Not an intuitive place for a menu. - Edit - Would have loved a right click menu option 'move game'. :(

I have only been able to play 4 games online so far, but no one has quit out, even in a 1v1 where I was the beast and the other guy was the torchbearer - He was on the back foot for the entire game (which lasted almost an hour) but he didnt quit. I guess I have been lucky.

I feel I should add my voice, I am one of the 'evil' pirates who stole the game (25 year-old programmer, for those questioning my maturity), because I am sick of the shoddy quality of games at release, both technically and in terms of gameplay. I wont buy a game I have not tried or had a friend recommend to me, and there was no demo for Demigod. So to the dark ship it was, and if it wasnt for them there would be two less Demigod players that I know of. I will probably recomm
