I'd really like to post more here, but I'm neck deep in creating my new Windowblind, and the thing just has me completely obsessed. I wake up sneaking in a little skinning before I start work, then I sneak in a little more during my breaks. I stop for dinner, but the entire time I'm eating or cooking, I'm thinking up other things I can do to the skin, or puzzling over a bug I can't work out. I got a 1.75 L of Sapphire gin from by kids who still live at home, some lovely body butter from my son who doesn't live at home, and a really sweet message on my MySpace page from a guy I dated 10 years ago, EXACTLY...it warmed my heart to know I had that kind of lasting effect on someone.

We just finished up -- boneless turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, candied yams, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls. It was really cool, because in the past, I did all the cooking, and for the past year, because I'm working all the time, my daughter has been doing the cooking, but I had today off and we cooked together.
