I'm still trying to get on my own feet, and sadly have nothing to contribute, BUT--Kitty, you ARE a Master Skinner, which means you can charge for your skins. You've been the top skinner for the last 30 days, and 7th stop skinner of all time. I would think you would be able to make at least part of what you need by selling a skin or 2.

Well, for once I'm glad I don't have the newest model! I love my Kindle, and it would be annoying to have ads. $15 may not be much for some, but for me, it's just not in my budget. I wonder if some tech savvy Robinhood will figure out how to jailbreak it and put the video up on YouTube, so an owner of this product could bypass the forced advertizing.

Hmmm...so LED watch does not equal spooky glow. I've changed it to gray with just a hint of orangish-yellow. Looks a lot better. I'm glad I gave myself enough time until October to get this completed.

Oh guys, guys, guys...I'm too much of a narcissist to do anything that doesn't make me happy. I started out with an idea, I ran with it, got to a certain point and wanted to trash it, but I couldn't put my finger on why. I appreciate the community's input--it gives me fresh perspective. Regardless of the input, I'll definitely do what I want to (I'm really not that much of a giver). I'm liking it better with less color, and more crispness. T

I like it a lot better without the red. Still lots of designing to do, but at least I don't feel like I want to trash it and do something else, which is how I was feeling about it earlier.

[/quote] I just did a quick color change in my mockup, changed the red to a dark gold, and it does look better. I also added a radial gradient with the light at the center on the bottom, with shadow coming from all other sides and that helped to wicked it up a bit, too.
