what do i need in CursorFX Stardock Forums

I want to start making cursors. I Have photoshop cs2 and image ready. maya 8.5. Zakwerks pro animator 300. and Aniutil. but i don't know were to begin. I'm artistically inclined but not truly familiar computers. {I'm Not An idiot either}. Basically is there a how to on this and if not are there specific sizes to start the images at? any help would be great thanks ;
