So I've noticed that in win 8 and 8.1, file associations, in terms of editing (icons and such) and deleting them have gone away and are no longer possible through the UI except though the registry editor. Why MS would take away something so basic, IDK? But it's left a great big hole in my life and windows experience. Since Start8 and ModernMix (not to mention Object Desktop Suite in general) have changed my windows 8 life to almost perfect, I was hoping you could breath some l

For anybody's reference, I was having an even stranger issue with YIM. I had it added to my exclusions, but it was still getting partially skinned by WB (the title bar and frame). I found that adding the "startWrapper.exe" application in the messenger directory fixed the issue once I fully quit (tray app and all) YIM, applied the settings in WB and then restarted YIM. Now fully excluded.

Ever since installing 6.20.089, clicking on of the menu items in basic windows programs (notepad, paint, solitaire, wordpad, calc, etc) will exit the program. Other programs (SDC, FF, IE7, Audacity, etc.) do not have this issue. If I unload windows blinds, everything works great. Unfortunatle, I've also just discovered that the Auto-archive checkbox in SDC hasn't been working for me (since I went to revert and the archives aren't there, lloks like they never have been) so I cannot rev

I have the same issue when using the Theme manager: I load a suite, works ok, looks like it should etc. I then open windowBlinds (using the right click 'setting' option) to lets say adjust the transparency setting, and well, it's not there on the list. Yet the theme manager lead me there. If I just go ahead and adjust the transparency setting (and nothing else) anyway, windowBlinds suddenly quits and the desktop is returned to the usual.
