do i need to make a backup of my skins before uninstalling version 6 of WindowBlinds, and then place them back in this folder ones WindowBlinds 7 is fully installed and activated???
I would think that Impulse is smart enough to sort through that. However, it is a good idea to back up your skins, for events such as hard drive crashes or new computer purchases. I always save my .wba's in a certain folder upon download, then I load them into WindowBlinds. I

In short, yes. I think you can create a taskbar at any size. It's just a matter of how the taskbar buttons fit on that bar. In W7, to get a shorter taskbar (default 30 px), right-click on the taskbar and choose properties. Make sure that the checkbox for "Use small icons" is checked, and the field for "Taskbar buttons" is set to "Never combine."

I have been trying to update to the latest SKS7 beta since it came out last week (albeit, I was away from this machine over Thanksgiving). Impulse acts like it's beginning the download for about 3 seconds, then it stops with an error. I have Nod32 anti-virus, and I have tried running this update with it both on and off. I have also tried resetting my data through the Impulse Options. I was able to update just fine on my other machine. Any help would be

BTW- just dragged a shortcut from my desktop to the recycle bin; the explorer window that asked me if I was sure (which usually shows the program's icon) showed a blank icon--in Windows Explorer! This tells me that this is not an ObjectDock problem, but either a bug in Windows 7, or a problem with IconPackager 5. Not sure which.

I encountered this program with one of my shortcuts just today. [e classic]:-|[/e] All I can say is, under dock entry properties & change image, try to browse and locate the programs original ".ico" icon file. Though in my case, a separate icon image file did not exist, so I have to deal with the blank paper until either the bug is fixed, or until I find a dock icon for my program.
When shortcut is added point to target, use high resolution icons
This is not an actual option, but rather a combination of possible options. The settings that are in that window won't actually help in this situation. See Below:

I also have NOD32. Make sure your settings are NOT set to automatically submit suspicious files to Eset. My NOD32 wants to submit that file about 100 times a day. I just keep telling it not to. I can't seem to find a way to convince it that this file is okay, though. [e digicons]X|[/e]

These are dock icons from my gallery, but they may work. I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "glassy", but these have a reflection below the main icon itself. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=13725&libid=29

I've seen other forums that allow sigs, and I can't stand the cluttered look. I much prefer the format we currently have here.
