Currently running WindowBlinds, ObjectDock Plus (with working Start menu), CursorFX Plus, RightClick, Desktop X, Fences, and Deskscapes on Vista Ultimate x64. No conflicts. ObjectDock used to have systray functionality on x64, but the most recent update blew it away. They say I can uninstall OD+ and reinstall to get it back, but I don't feel like going through the hassle.
One thing you could do is to start a new WB skin. Under each graphic element except for the taskbar, set the image to "No Image Defined." Then skin your taskbar. This should leave you with Windows Aero except for your customized taskbar. This is probably a little more work than simply snagging a Vista clone, but it'll give you true Aero, not a clone.
One in the button? And what's OB? If you're using ObjectDock Plus, you can have as many docks on your screen as you want. If you're using ObjectDock free, then you get one. If you're using OB, you probably got something else. [e digicons];P[/e]

I have made 10 RightClick skins to date, and I have just now realized that there is a such thing as the "RightClick Skin Editor!" I've been doing it the hard way! To adjust the settings of my skins, I've been editing the code through notepad, then saving it as the "menu.menuskin" file. I can't believe I've been hard coding it when there is an automated setup! [e digicons]X([/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] I'll have to utilize this skinning tool for my nex

It's up again! http://www.guichamps.com/skin/104 It is a Vista only skin at this point--I tried an xp substyle, and I was having major problems. I'll probably do an xp version in the near future. I re-skinned a few minor things from the original version, and I also added an animated start button. [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
I just noticed on my personal page that I have a new WC award--Top 1 Yearling. What's that mean? Ahh well, it sounds cool, and it's gotta be good, right?

Thanks for trying, KM! [e digicons]:)[/e]
I know I'm inexperienced at this and all, but I've come to the same conclusion as vStyler. For now I'm going to call this a Vista skin. I'll probably put together an xp version some time later. Thanks all for your help and input! Pizza's on me! [e digicons]:pizza:[/e]
Crap. I might just have to call it a Vista skin and work on xp later. [e digicons]>:([/e]
KittyMalone: On which graphic should I put this one pixel?
Thanks, Craig! I tried it but have no way to test at the moment. I sent you an e-mail.
I have finished my WB that I have been working on for about a month and a half; except that the navigation buttons have a black background when the xp substyle is applied (see screenshot below). I used SKS6 exclusively. I skinned Vista first, then created an xp substyle. Any help or input? I'm trying to get this finished for the GUI's...
Congrats & great job!
For WindowBlinds, I know a lot of you are putting the finishing touches on your work, but don't wait too long to submit! I know some of the biggest WB skinning names in the community are furiously working on their entries
Don't forget us new guys... [e digicons][/e] I'm hoping to have the revised Aqueous WB submitted sometime tomorrow. Since it went back into moderation I decided to go ahead and skin xp, but Vista has been done for a while. I've b

Thanks for the help, MasterBaron & Zubaz. Thanks for the laugh, m1!
I was just curious if the skins submitted here would eventually wind up over at WC, or if the author would need to submit their skin in both places? Of course, I realize that the rules state that the skin needs to be posted here first; but I was just wondering.
Hallo from Valpo.
Hallo from Merrillville!
Good luck with the effort!
Thanks, doc! I am very pleased with Vista; I made some minor tweaks since I was starting over. I found some minor inconsistencies that I fixed, as well as animating the start button. Now let's hope I'm happy with the xp substyle I'll begin today...
