Same thing happened to my skin mrsguy - mine is currently pending - best solution i found as well was a total rebuild from new skin - its the only way to be sure.
Sorry to hear that, ct. At the moment, Vista is completely redone. I will tackle an xp substyle next. I hope it works!

Okay, so after some deep examination of the skin, I decided that my best course of action was to rebuild... from scratch. [e digicons]X([/e] This time, I built it off of the SKS new skin template, rather than another skin. So far, Vista is 97% done, and well whaddaya know? I accidentally discovered solutions to some of the xp bugs! Time allowing, I might try to skin xp after all! The skin should be ready for resubmission early next week.
where was that link supposed to go?
To a related thread where I display a screeny that shows my Vista Ultimate x64 machine with working start menu and sys tray. That was, however, before this OD update which killed the sys tray. Evidently the forum links aren't working properly, and it simply redirects you to the forum home page.

Man! And I was excited about my new laptop! [e digicons]:'([/e] I'll be getting a Dell XPS Core 2 Duo 2.5 Ghz, 4GB DDR2, 320 GB HD, running Vista Ultimate x32. Very similar to my desktop. It's replacing a 2-year-old Dell Inspiron that was built to run xp. It runs Vista fine, but as almost all of my software now demands more, it's time to move on up. By the way, Skinhit, if you'll give me your order number, I'd be glad to check up on it for you! [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e
Where it be? I come home, get on, go to dl and it's gone...you find a bug or something?
Sorry, mate. I thought I'd cleaned up the skin, but some images from the skin it was based upon were found in the files. I need to clean it up more. Guess it comes with being a noob at WindowBlinds skinning. You might want to make sure there's a shortcut for OD in the following directory: C:\Users\*YOUR USER NAME*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup If there's not a shortcut here, chances are it won't run on startup. Also, I noticed that this thread is in the Object Desktop section. Your question would probably have been more visible to the right eyes if it were under "Stardock support > ObjectDock." I have never been able to get this to work, before today, that is. WG, I tried your suggestion, and for some reason, it didn't work for me. I have always preferred to have my docks in the Documents/Stardock/Objectdock folder. Even with having my backgrounds there, as long as i place the +/- images in "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock", everything works fine!
I have a fresh installation of Vista Ultimate 64bit and OD+ 1.9. My start menu does not work, it says "Will be available in future release" and the system tray docklet does not show any icons. Not sure what the problems might be.
Update OD+ through impulse. That will at least give you a functional start button. I had the same problem when I first installed Vista Ultimate x64.
