[e digicons]:D[/e] hey BoXXi we cannot miss your beautiful wooden texture dock !! maybe you'll recall ... looking the simple .ini file below, the example is for "top\bottom positions only" (If needed I'll be glad to be a beta tester ! ) [e digicons]^_^[/e] .............................................. [Info] Name = XP Green [BackgroundTop] Image = XPG back.png OutsideBorderLeft = 15 OutsideBorderRight = 15 Left

[e digicons]:D[/e] very nice to be here to thank you I.D. for mine + the other skinners picks ! [e digicons]|-)[/e]
didnt know u could put sides on docks like that..
... you can have any dock lateral image just setting to stretch only the .png central pixels: play with the .ini file > (OutsideBorderLeft \ OutsideBorderRight for BackgroundTop + Bottom positions) (OutsideBorderTop \ OutsideBorderBottom for BackgroundLeft + Rigth positions) let's say the image is 710 pixels try to leave around 350 pixs as border ! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
it really looks good ! ! [e digicons][/e] ... maybe just for me, brainstorming on creating my first foreground with colored shadows, it seems only missing "some" shadow [e digicons];)[/e]
Hey check my HappyHalloween tiles https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=16092&libid=29 the ScaryHand image indeed acts as a foreground tile but it's just a running indicator so it's only working for the shortcuts of the running applications ! better than nothing !?
BTW what do you think about automatically running Firefox at system startup ? + Do you know a proven way of starting Firefox minimized ?
I just recall my Firefoxmaniac motto: "what is better than Firefox ? two Firefox !! (the default + the portable)" well, now my hypercustomized Firefox is running automatically at system startup !
Yes probably the 180x180 is the best solution especially when you have a lot of frames ! You can notice the CPU issue (ObiectDock goes up to 50%\80% of the system resources) on mouse over zooming, with the frame size 200x200 or more pixs, 50 or more frames, very fast delay 60 or less millisecs ! + thanks for appreciating my AnimatedIcons ... BTW I really like your wallpapers ! [e digicons]:)[/e]
... finally a found the Wincustomize Guidelines check point2 "Functionality" https://www.wincustomize.com/Guidelines.aspx regarding the frames size the very first "SpinningGlobe AnimatedIcon" bundled with the Animated Shortcut Docklet was 90x90 so you can just resize the final strip height (the width will be automatically resized by your graphic application) without loosing details maybe the next time you c
Hi skyzyk ! just consider the preview as a wallpaper with 1\ 2 AnimatedIcon frames inserted in the middle also you can take a screenshot of ObjectDock running the AnimatedIcon at the maximum icon size: 256 pixels (BTW it seems that the frames are 70x70 I suggest a larger size) naturally you can load 2 times the same icon or even 2 single frames (just drag&drop the images on the dock) as always the preview is .jpg format, suggested minimun
[e digicons]:D[/e] Ok I uploaded the Animated Icon + 1 single Png on the gallery I just made some chenges respect the trial, hope in better !! http://frankell.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=15930&libid=29 BTW at the moment is still in moderation !
[e digicons]:D[/e] here I am Wizard1956 and AlanRolen ! as I replied to your comment on FIREfox 3 AnimatedIcon ! https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=15181&libid=29#570720 I'm working on a new version with the rotating globe ! ( TRIAL frames n.4 + n.11 out of 18 )
finally I found the freeware application: "TileMage ImageSplitter" saves the splitted pngs preserving the alpha channels but it worked for me only in batch mode AW if you want to process only 1 strip on the dialog window you can uncheck the other images in the same folder ! http://www.thefreewindows.com/downloads/default.asp?h=http://tilem
from my skinner point of view this is a very useful shortcut (I just customized the icon image) as when I try + make changes on a new skin I'm going to open several times the "OD Properties" dialog BTW I really would like a "minimize" button ! about the RAM issue try to choose a lower icon size especially for the "zoom" effect + on using animated icons check the option "only animate on mouseover" or run only 1 animated icon at the time, hope this help !
hi BONEHEADdb my suggestion is to ask the author for the original pngs before he pasted the images as a strip for example my "Digital Counter Animated" https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=14701&libid=29 is a pngs strip to be used with the "Animated Shortcut" docklet, but the same skin also comes with all the 61 single frames on the "Graphic gallery" <a href="https://www.w
[e digicons]:-"[/e] many thanks for the tip JcRabbit !! apart the mirrored icons (similar to XWindows Dock) + the special effects for the whole dock (very peculiar) I'm impressed by the adding sounds feature on each theme just what I asked some times ago as a new feature on ObjectDock 2 !! BTW i'll try to port my "Click&Drum" dockrama on Nexus just to hear the bass drum roll on clicking the icons [e digicons]:-"[/e]
I voted #3 as was not possible to vote #3 + #2 (= #5 [e digicons][/e] ) AW two entries certainly is a great result for Libardo but also an handicap as who votes for him in the end will split the preferences !
I was very happy to be your OS Windows beta tester Ziggy ! your LavaFox theme is really stunning ! especially for the large use of AnimatedPNGs perfectly fitting the theme style LavaFox is probably the best Firefox modern theme ! I reccommand it + I'm also sure it will be soon reccommanded on the Mozilla site ! thanks again Ziggy for your great hard work [e digicons][/e]
[e digicons]:D[/e] thanks a lot Libardo for your very friendly comments [e digicons][/e] ))-| [e digicons][/e] ))-|
[e digicons]:D[/e] thanks to you Libardo ! yesterday was "my day" I received the "apprentice" promotion + your very kind comment ! [e digicons][/e] ))-| [e digicons][/e] ))-| (beside the pints of beer there are my self made "red wine glass" smilies !)[e digicons]XD[/e]
my compliments to all the artist (especially Libardo) for their great skins ! just to participate here I am with "TWiS - DrumRoll !!" (a variation of my first contribution uploaded on the Gallery) : <img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv101/frankelll/TWis128.png" alt
[e digicons]:D[/e] WoW !! many thanks to the Wincustomize community (especially to Jafo !) for this unexpected great surprise ))-| [e digicons][/e] ))-| [e digicons][/e] ))-| [e digicons][/e]
Here's one for dreaming. I'd like to see sounds in OD. Specifically for tabbed docks. Click on a tab, play a sound.
I would like some more !!... a customizable sound on clicking the icons on the dock !! [e digicons]:-"[/e]
Hi karmat the "bookmarks" idea is very useful when you have a "full size" browser page as you cannot access the desktop go on creating a new folder on the "Toolbar Bookmarks" ( just right click) where drag&drop the sites icon (in my "Basket" folder I'm keeping some temporary links ) then you'll find much easier to delete them ! [e classic];)[/e]
Hi TrueScot .. this is my way : drag&drop the site icon from the url bar to have the link of the last opened page on the desktop (or keep it into a new folder with other links created) then whenever you want drag&drop the link on a browser open page this way you can start again your gallering around just from where you left the last time !
