"CORE" "USER" "ALL" The Core ships already have weapons and stuff installed on them. What you are doing are designing those using the template ships I provide. So whenever anyone uses the provided races if he/she chooses to use the CORE ship provided they will end up using the one you provided.

2 ideas. 1. I had this idea originally to create a unique combat formula for this game. And although it would have made a more Starfleet universe feel to the game it would made you unable to mix the fed and empire races with the other races. So I am thinking of changing the weapons to match the races as planned but leave the defenses alone. 2. I want to get the tech trees ready and when they are I will e-mail 1 tech tree with that race's ships to 1 person. You then will pl

Yes but except for the ones that Atlas has been putting together they need only 1 hull per size. So no worries. Some minors use ships by the other empires too. Like LDR uses Lyran.
