I agree with annatar, Im just waiting for a fix or a link to 1.02. Annatar is right, this would have been addressed already if this was a majority problem. Although I would appreciate a bit more info on why this is happening, I'll toss my faith in stardock and IC for the time being.

zephyr the engine was designed with the golden rule: It has to be playable on laptops(my understanding, please correct if I am wrong). So it was made pretty conservative. Most of us dont really have power pcs. I'm using intel integrated graphics.

blackwizardmagus, XP should do it without the need for any additional software. Just copy the appropriate files into the disk, open the registry editor, and export the entry for sins. I cant do a step by step because I'm on Vista and my own game doesn't work yet XD.

do you have a CD key? Pass it on to stardock and see if they havent already seen it registered. So you may have bought a stolen copy or something like that. Employees have done things like that before. If not try downloading stardock and downloading the game through stardock.

As soon as I run the game the screen goes black and a error window sound is heard. in Technical Sins Forums

Just installed Vista SP1 and 1.03. As soon as I click on play the game the screen goes black for a while and then the error sound is heard. I check it and its a minidump. This is a fresh install of 1.03 as well not an upgrade. I checked my device drivers, updated with intel, tried again. Didnt work. I tried it on a Vista non SP1 machine didnt work. I tried that vista crash patch and it says not appicable in SP1 and doesnt do anything on the non SP1 machine. I can get

To OP if your looking for size, compare the size of the star destroyer or the SSD to the planet and the compare the sizes of the capital ships in SINS, IM pretty sure that the sins capital ships are BIGGER.
