Try the triel vesion, I dont use Photoshop to make icons but I know he has added psd layer suport to some degree.
And it has good tools (IMO) to do any last minute pixel pushing
That is a good question? What is it you did not like? I like it because I do most of my work in Corel (In a vector format) and save them as PNG's or PSD files then I can us Icon Workshop to do all the compiling for me. It is surprisingly accurate
I have not used MicroAngelo in years, but I would say go get the 30day trial and give it a try.
I give it a 9.9 out of 10, I still want to be able to save Mac Icons.

c242, Yes and no, it seems to import the Alpha Chanel as a mask, this is ok but not Ideal, I dont use Photopaint often so I know if will meet you needs, I am mostly a vector guy.

What exactly are you using to do this them, there are several OS-X themes, Object bar, Desktop X, Windowblinds? You might need to do some configuring to get it working write. But if what you want is a Mac. Buy a Mac. If you want do have your own Desktop or GUI configuration, the possibilities are endless with Object Desktop, you just have to do some experimenting. PS. There is more OD support on the Stardock News Groups, check there befoe you give up. Good luck.

Ya, perhaps if you had it the same time as Comdex or something people could do it cobine the trips, However, I think Chicago would be realistic. %wise there is probobly more skinners there.

That depends which Application you want to use, OD is several. Start at stardock, each app should have a Tutotial or instructions on their site www.stardock.com
