I am finishing up a new Iconpack, and of all things the Run button is killing me. I just can’t do anything I like. So the question accrued to me, Why do I, and many other Icon designers use an Hourglass to represent Run? Doesn’t an Hourglass say “Wait this may take a minute”. I know I got this habit from Windows 95, and perhaps this explains the “Wait this may take a minute.” Concept. But anyway, what would be better. Any suggestions?

I have been doing Skins and Icons for about four years now, and I have not met any of my fellow skinners. That seems od to me, that such a big part of my life is dedicated to Skinning. Is this common, or rare? How about you? With the exseption of Stardock employies there is not a lot of exuses for skinners to meet in the flesh.
It's 3:24 in the morning here in Pasadena CA, and I am getting up to go to work. Good Mornning all.
It is nice to here someone not expounding about the good old days. I see skinning and customization growing and I am glad I am not the only one.
Very well done, this is a good read and a realistic look at the Internet economy.

With version 11 all you have to do is put in the corel 10 disk and let it validate. It works fine, also 11 comes with Mac & PC version on one disk.
I agree it is easier, but not very maney adobe users will admit to it.

I have been beta testing it for the last few months, everything I have done for since about March has been done in Corel 11. Windowblinds dose not seem to support changeing the colors in the side bar of WindowsXP Folders, I notice that the standard windows themes change the color, is this something I can set Window blinds to do or am I just out of luck?
I Use Vector to design everthing. I think people do give Corel enogh of a chance, I have yet to find anything I cant do it it that Illusrtator or Freehand can. I think people get blone away buy photoshop and what I call Filter envey, and dont realize that with diferant effects you can do almost anything in Corel and it is Scalabel and editable to the utmost degree.
I was looking at the new pool, and I was thinking humm, all these options are bitmap programs. I marked other, do to the fact that I do 99% of my work in CorelDRAW. This brought me to think, am I the only Vector artist doing skins, I know most people think Adobe Illustrator, when they think Vector Design, but there are many other programs out there, Freehand, Designer, and of course my Favorite CorelDRAW, (The most powerful, intuitive and capable in my opinion). Anyway, what I
